Pretty Nice Troll
1st amendment?
Yeah .. .you'd think as an "American" ... he''d get that right !!! jokes ... ha!
1st amendment?
What is the truth? The fact that only the US has these school shooting is the truth and people delude themselves that the easy availability of guns have nothing to do with it.OK, continue to spread misinformation and be duped by the media. Cool story. My ONLY agenda was trying to truth. Hell, call every shooting in America a "school shooting", clearly you favor intentionally misleading lies, gossip and indignant outrage over the truth.
I can't imagine why? Other countries have bad parents and mental illness.WORD ... the fear mongering.
Like I didn't even read the article ... what do you need to know about it except the kids aren't alright ... but all anyone wants to talk about is GUNS!

Rational people know guns have something to do with it, but we have the 2nd amendment. This kid used legally purchased guns by a (presumably) sane adult. No laws would have prevented it. Even if guns were outlawed, this kid would have used another type of weapon. This guy used a shotgun and a .38 for god's sake.
People focus way too much attention on the type of weapon a kid uses to kill classmates rather than the reason why he wanted to kill classmates. But by all means, let's keep whining about evil guns and how they should be removed from responsible gun owners. That'll surely fix the issue.

why don't kids in other countries find other ways of doing it if they could do it some other way? Why don't kids in other countries need to kill classmates.
When are Americans going to to address the real cause of mass shootings? Oh no, it is mental illness, unfit parents, too many entrances to schools (cough, cough), not enough discipline (we have all seen the results of discipline here), not enough guns, and by far and away the best, it is a God given right. For Fucks sake.
BRAVO! :hug:Keep in mind America, that right now odds are excellent another kid is plotting his own killing spree.
Kids going about their lives who will be mowed down in school for no good reason other than some prick was angry, or made fun of, or got turned down by a romantic interest.
Sitting in his room beating off to how powerful he is about to be and how he will show "them".
Smiling thinking "everyone will know me then".
He will be white,
a loner,
deeply confused in what he idolizes (Nazi's, Communists, GOP, NRA, Carebears, My Little Pony, et al.)
fascinated by firearms/weapons in general,
come from a home of conflicting values,
has a lot of rage while feeling powerless.
has voiced threatsthat were not taken seriously,
it is the kid next door no one ever sees out.
Fortunately I am not living in America and as a Canadian I don't have to really worry over it as it does not affect me.
As for the ones it does affect, there seems to be no motivation in politicians to create intelligent substantive changes that the public want.
Too much voice is given to a fringe lobby group with cultish tendencies that fetishizes firearms and has meager membership.
Good luck with that!
I agree, the reporting totally skews the numbers ..You guys do know that of those 22 only 8-9 actually involve students/people intentionally trying to kill other students. Some of then were unintentional, some of them were staff or parents getting into disputes that led to gunfire. One of them was a BB gun, one was an accidental discharge by a teacher, one an accidental discharge by a student; This isn't 22 times that a person has gone into a school, guns blazing, intending to kill students. It seems completely disingenuous for news agencies to report it this way when more times than not, they had nothing to do with students at all. You can check the map at this site...

This kind of reporting muddies the waters even further and it needs to be dialed back IMO.
Yeah, not school shootings though. It's NOT just a US phenomenon, see below.

internet problems all day today but will try to find the articles I did get to tweet from the articles mainly because one shows the clothing he wore which was real 3rd reichish complete with German cross and the other born to kill t shirt he had put up n fb
recently. Now while this is a particular look it kinda makes you side eye whos wearing itnk says he wore a long duster like coat that hid the ak, shotgun and pipe bombs as well as revolver to get into the school
If we better regulated gun ownership, some significant barriers could have been put in place. May not have prevented it, but would have made it harder and who knows, could have led to him being caught or found out prior.
For example, i believe every gun owner should have to do some manner of annual(or preferably monthly) registration or check in with law enforcement. Law enforcement should be required to check in and do spot checks inside the homes and lives of people who own firearms again, at least annually. These should be spur of the moment/spontaneous. Such things could have revealed that this shithead dad didnt keep his guns locked up, didnt keep a minor child in the home from having access.
I also think such infractions, however seemingly minor, should result in gun rights being taken away from said individual on the spot. Lengthy suspensions or outright banning on the individual would make a lot of sense.
There are ways to mitigate some of this stuff and at least attempt to curb the violence. The problem is nobody gives a shit or wants to do anything about it. Disgusting.
Shouldnt have a 2nd amendment if as a society we cant responsibly implement it. And AMerica has shown yet again that it for a fact absolutely can not.
- All firearms are to be secured in a lockable container (ie safe, lockbox or locker), That firearms and ammunition are in separate lockable containers, no minors have access, that you are not in possession of firearms while intoxicated, while transporting firearms that they are secured in the boot (trunk) separate from the ammo etc, etc....
Bingo! We simply cannot regulate and legislate our way out of every little thing. I already have parents, I don't need the government stepping in telling me what to do!
My point is that school shootings are horrible, but they are not the most dangerous things to our kids since pop rocks and soda but the media is pushing it as such, and that is because they are backing an agenda of a political party.
People seem to forget that the constitution was written to LIMIT the power of government, not grant all encompassing power over every aspect of our lives- and only weak or subservient people would need or want that. DotGov is supposed to be controlled by us, not the other way around - but those encroaching MFs with the help of the communists McCarthy warned us about have definitely overstepped their bounds.
