Assignation gone wrong?
I'm thinking the same since he sent a text to his wife that said "he would be home in an hour" and he was found in the hotel room with a "variety of items inside, including condoms."

Should of kept his dick in his pants and went home to wifey-poo, bein' he's a newlywed and all. JMO

His wife lost her " Best friend " This is pretty sad for her.

... but "best friends" kinda tell each other when they are getting a piece on the side.

Well, you all know how I feel about cheaters. This story pissed me off from the start. If he'd been home with his wife, he'd (presumably) still be alive. Another good reason for NOT cheating.

On the other hand, some guys go home and get murdered by their wives, so...eh...I guess shit is just gonna happen when it happens.

I really feel for this newly married wife. What a way to find out your husband was cheating on you with a prostitute...and oh by the way he's dead. I believe she probably was one.
But hey...at least he was using condoms!! :sarcasm: :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Uh oh. He met her on Craigslist thinking she was a man, wanting gay sex....

  • Messerschmitt, 30, who met his wife in college, had been using Craigslist to solicit men, according to an affidavit on Tuesday
  • Jamyra Gallmon, 21, 'contacted victim using a masculine-sounding email address and went to hotel with the intention of robbing him'
  • The pair got into a struggle on February 9 and she stabbed him repeatedly in the abdomen, back and groin

This is 50 shades of fucked up.

An "enema kit." HA HA HA. Nice way to go, dude. Great epitaph for your family to remember. Why in the fuck did you bother to get married?

Real genius plan by the perp, too. Nobody would EVER think cragslist would help produce a crime.

Just fucked up all around.

ha ha ha...I can handle queer...I just cant handle the queers that are cowards who pretend that they're straight. That's what you get when you live a lie...no good comes out of it...ever.

And the plot thickened ..

How humiliating for his wife and family... and for fucks sake an enema and they ran with that in bold headlines.

WHy would you not involve an enema in anal sex? Good on him for coming prepared. Can't tell you how many stories i've laughed at and how many idiots i've ridiculed when they shamefully detail their tales of their first anal experiences and the mess that ensued. Fucking trash. That's what ya get for playing around where God did not intend. Sick.

Lookin at the guy, i'd be surprised if his wife is surprised by the gay news.

A military academy graduate and her girlfriend have pleaded guilty in connection with the murder of a Washington D.C. lawyer who was stabbed to death in a luxury hotel earlier this year.

Jamyra Gallmon, 21, and Dominique Johnson, 19, were arrested in April after David Messerschmitt, 30, was found stabbed in the heart, groin and abdomen at the Donovan Hotel on February 10.

The married lawyer had gone to the hotel after Gallmon responded to his Craigslist ad soliciting for gay sex. She pretended to be a man and intended to rob him, she told police.

Johnson was not in the hotel room where the murder took place but had knowledge of the robbery and went with Gallmon to CVS as she bought zip ties, according to court documents.

She was also waiting for Gallmon outside and as they took the bus away from the scene, Gallmon allegedly told her: 'It went bad.'

The women will be sentenced on August 14. Gallmon faces between 18 and 25 years in prison while Johnson faces five years.

Gay sex? OHHHH so THATS what the enema was for. I feel sorry for his poor wife. Not only did she find out he was cheating on her, but she also found out he was gay. That sucks (no pun intended). I guess he really wasnt her bff afterall.

woman who admitted to fatally stabbing and robbing a lawyer in a luxury hotel was sentenced to 24 years in prison on Friday, according to reports.

Jamyra Gallmon, 21, had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the Feb. 9 death of DLA Piper attorney David Messerschmitt, 30, at the Donovan Hotel off Thomas Circle in Downtown D.C.

Gallmon’s reputed girlfriend and former roommate Dominique Johnson, 19, received a six-month sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery in May, The Washington Post reported.

Prosecutors say the pair planned to rob Messerschmitt after he posted aCraigslist ad seeking a male sexual partner and Gallmon arranged the hotel room meeting under false pretenses.

The prosecutors, lawyers for the defense and representatives for both the victims and the defendants addressed D.C. Superior Court Judge Michael Ryan before Ryan handed down the sentences on Friday, WRC-TV reported.

Ryan opted for the maximum 24 years for second-degree murder under sentencing guidelines. Assistant U.S. Attorney Shana Fulton argued she deserved 25 years, the most possible under Gallmon’s plea deal.

“This was not a random robbery. This was calculated and premeditated,” Fulton said, according to the Post. “She stabbed Mr. Messerschmitt seven times. She plunged a knife into him seven times, even in his back, and she left him there in that hotel room to die.”

Messerschmitt’s wife, Kim Vuong, cried in court on Friday and gave her victim-impact statement in a closed session, the TV station reported. She wrote that Gallmon had “stolen” her dreams while asking for a 25-year sentence in testimony she submitted earlier this week, according to the Post.

“I did not understand why he was killed or know who was responsible for it,” Vuong wrote. “All I knew was that on Feb. 9, 2015, my husband did not come home to me. He always came home, but that night he did not. Since then, my world and everything in it has changed.”

That is a very big difference in sentences for participating in a robbery that left a person dead? I thought people who were down with committing a crime had to share in the murder charge, if someone was killed in the course of the execution of the crime in the US?

I thought the same thing but every state is different I guess. I can't believe she only got second degree murder. It was first degree in my opinion.

I think they let her plead to 2nd becoz or the inherent danger that comes with meeting someone online. It's not right that he is dead but he gambled with his life meeting someone online for elicit sexcapades he should have just had a fuck buddy for. No judgement from me on who does what just do it safely dammit.

Wow shows how much the gov't cares about this victim, wonder if it's cuz he was gay or asian taht they said, "your life ain't worth shit, fuck you and your family".
