"Dwanna Evans, 38, is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to the altercation that took place this summer.
According to an arrest affidavit, on Aug. 10, the woman's husband told officers was he sitting in his car at their apartment in the 5500 block of Scruggs Lane smoking marijuana when his wife approached the vehicle and began to argue with him.
The victim said his wife wanted him to sign divorce papers, but he refused.
He said his wife went into their home and returned a short time later, approaching the driver's side door.
The victim said she began to jab at him with a knife, stabbed him in the forearm, and then left."
