Ukraine: Couple Died Holding Hands After Thieves Shot & Buried Them Alive To Steal Their SUV

A lcouple died holdings hands after thieves interrupted them having sex, shot them and buried them alive so they could steal their Volkswagen SUV.

Gennady Andreev, 39, and his accomplice Ruslan Klemenchuk, 36, ambushed their victims in a forest belt near Gutyrivka, Ukraine.

Businessman Yury Beznischenko, 44, and his lover Alla Vitryak, 40, often came to the forest belt to spend time together.

The couple had been coming to the same place on certain days of the week and the criminals knew that, the Poltava Regional Court heard.

In June 2016, Andreev and Klemenchuk ambushed the couple and attacked them while they were making love.

Reports say Andreev shot Yury in the head and demanded Alla to hand over her gold jewellery. After she did so, he shot her in the head as well.

After that, the attackers buried their victims, who begged not to be killed, in the forest.

Police spokesman Ruslan Biryukov said: 'Andreev and Klemenchuk shot the victims and buried them. The victims were still alive. The man and the woman died holding hands in their grave.'

After murdering the couple, Andreev took Yury's Volkswagen Touareg home and hid it in the garage.

A year later Andreev tried to sell the parts of the car on the Internet and was caught by police.

Cornered with evidence, the attacker showed to officers the place where he and his accomplice buried the victims.

It took the cops about five hours to unearth the bodies.

On December 2 this year, previously convicted Gennady Andreev was jailed for life and his accomplice Ruslan Klemenchuk was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

On December 2, a Ukrainian court sentenced Gennady Andreev (39) to life imprisonment and his accomplice Ruslan Klemenchuk (36) to 12 years in prison for murder and robbery.

According to the indictment, the pair ambushed their victims—businessman Yury Beznischenko (44) and his partner Alla Vitryak (40)—on a forest-side road near the village of Gutyrivka in the Kharkiv region. Yury and Alla frequently met there, and the perpetrators were well aware of their schedule.

In June 2016, Gennady and Ruslan ambushed the couple, attacking them while they were engaged in sexual activity. Gennady shot Yury and forced Alla to remove her gold jewelry. After she handed the jewelry over, Gennady shot her in the head as well. The two victims were subsequently buried in the forest.

Police spokesman Ruslan Biryukov stated: "Gennady and Ruslan shot the victims and buried them. However, the couple was still alive at the time of burial. The man and woman died holding hands in their shared grave."

After killing Yury and Alla, Gennady took Yury's car home and hid it in his garage. A year later, he was arrested by the police after attempting to sell parts of the vehicle online.
