Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold expressed "disappointment" Monday at the Supreme Court's 9-0 decision that her state cannot bar former President Trump from appearing on the ballot in 2024, saying it was now up to voters to "save our democracy."

Ahead of Super Tuesday, the Supreme Court issued an unanimous decision against the case brought by the state of Colorado to remove Trump from the ballot, which argued he was disqualified from public office under the 14th Amendment for causing an "insurrection" in 2021.

"My larger reaction is disappointment," Griswold said on MSNBC. "I do believe that states should be able under our constitution to bar oath-breaking insurrectionists."

"Ultimately, this decision leaves open the door for Congress to act to pass authorizing legislation, but we know that Congress is a nearly non-functioning body," she added. "So ultimately, it will be up to the American voters to save our democracy in November."

Colorado's argument was crazypants. Period. This was not some gray area where reasonable people could disagree. And all the talking heads on TV or in the press who told you otherwise were lying and/or beclowning themselves.

Remember who they were, because you can bet we haven't heard the last of them, and they're not magically going to become smarter, more objective, or more trustworthy.

Democrats in power all over the country trying to rig the election, while claiming to defend democracy :vomit: :banghead: :finger:
Edit
No senile Joe, people are wondering if they'll be able to feed their families after four more years of you
Democratic joke of the day

Biden remains optimistic that his message about democracy — which helped staunch a "red wave" in the 2022 midterms — will again prevail.
I think the biggest images in people's minds are going to be of January 6th," Donilon predicted.

They don't want a repeat of 2016 when every other Democrat had need for a therapy dog.

I guess Obama was right when he said the Joe would 'fuck it up'.

Glad to see this was a 9-0 decision, it restored a little of what's left of faith I have in this country. It blows my mind these idiots (like here in Oregon) can literally rig an election, and say they are defending democracy with a straight face?

It doesn't matter what side your on or what side your not on, we have elections for a reason regardless of their questionable security, it's simply a part of the constitution, you do not get to remove someone from a ballet and go even further to try an remove the ability to write said person in. Once 1 side gets away with it, the other side will follow similar tactics and it's all fun and games till it's your side is removed from the ballet, these disgusting individuals promoting a rigged election should honestly be removed from their positions, and better yet viewed as malware and removed from our country.

What a great word @CancerMan, I'd never heard it before!
Whut?
Move to Poland, one of the most popular "journalists" used it twice i the last half a year.

We have an "international Bollywood and Hollywood star" who basically made up all of her career, and all the mainstream media still give her a platform, after she has been exposed as pathological liar, like she took a helicopter ride for tourists, and said she came to Cannes festival from Italy (the festival was not "the Cannes", it was pay 400 euro to screen anything you want), or had a "dinner with a Greek millionaire for one million dollars.
Turned out, she was just a crypto scam artists, like everyone nowadays.

Unfortunately, there are no auto subtitles for these" documentaries"

First dems get upset because Trump said the 2020 election was 'rigged.
Then the dems 'transparently' attempt to rig the 2024 election.
Now the dems are upset that SCOTUS says they can't rig the 2024 election.
Now the dems think they can do something in congress to 'rig' the election, but the Speaker of the House says "No".

(Correct me if you I'm wrong.)

Here, you're right.
But it actually goes back to 2016.
It was democrats who started the whole "russiagate" bullshit, but before that it was Trump who went around saying the election is going to be rigged (it's really hard to find the party responsible for the first accusations).

Then, in 2020, it was Trump saying it was rigged, without any evidence (though, apparently, 10 years old could easily hack the voting machines, didn't matter much during the trials).

But, in the end, nothing of the above matters at all, men and women have a vote each, gingers have A VOTE, but it's all up to the electoral college anyway

During the 2020 election, there was an entire county that all the republican votes went to the democrats, it was that counties officials noticed cause it has been a historically red county forever. If it happened once it could happen again. I'll accept whoever wins if it is fair and the process is transparent to remove any doubt

@Josh P
There were lots of crossover districts in 2020 where the congressional representative elected was of a different party than the party of winning presidential candidate's party. This always happens.

For example, in District 3 in Iowa, Democrat Cindy Axne won, but Republican Donald Trump carried the district.

Here's what it looked like in 2016

Is it mythomania @CancerMan, or merely a propensity for grandiosity and hyperbole? My former stepdad, who was a big deal in his field, spoke in the exact same way. Everything was always 'the best' or 'the worst', the 'most amazing' or 'the worst thing ever'. He was about 15 years older than Trump. I truly think part of it is just the way successful people from that era did business. I mean come on, if a seven year old can figure it out, why can't a nation of adults? :banghead:

(I was thought that mythomania is a disorder)

I think, in Trump case It's more "over exaggerating" than lying, though he does the former to gain support.
Biden, on the other hand, can't last 10 minutes without making something up, and Americans can only blame the media for not pointing it out.

But I'm not exactly qualified to make a diagnosis (nor anyone should say they are), without eye to eye conversations, like these retard "psychologist" who said Trump is a worse psychopath than Hitler.

But not being qualified to do something, never stopped me from doing anything xD

For those who want a healthy dose of laugh, here are other things miss Natalia Janoszek did:

-edited a Hollywood trailer, to put her face on it, when her role was literally 2 seconds in the movie

-said she was offered to be a Victoria Secret model with 5 ft 2 inch

-she said she producted a short film, that actually won something, though she was not credited, while even the fucking catering was lol

-said her team "was to busy" to put all of her work on IMdb

-very likely, edited her own Wikipedia page, using first, nataliabb (Białystok, not bareback you perverts), then changed her name to something generic, cause she "raised a suspicion" that it may be actually her. Turned out, there was someone with exact, genetic name as the new one, liking only the same Natalia on polish version of IMdb.

-depends who she is talking to, she was either Miss Universe (!!!), Miss Poland, or in the only, real fact, she was "the nicest of the girls" on some random miss competition (check out Insatiable, you can't unsee it). As the guy who made an expose on her said, it's like getting a Nobel prize for "The best ironed shirt"

-posted a few photos boarding a "private jet" over the years. The only problem was, that she was dressed exactly the same on every one of these photos.

-said, truthfully, that she won EFFI (or something) award, twice in a row. The problem was, IFFI is an award show with hundreds of million dollars budget, EFFI is Wish version of it, giving an award to anyone who's willing to sit 40 hours on a bus from any major Indian city

-was asked to translate some basic hindi, obviously didn't understand a word (her defense of why there are no records of her movies in Bollywood, was that she starred in hindi, not English ones)

-showed her "awards", with names cut, cause they were not for her at all

-one of her movies, was nominated in 7/10 categories, didn't win anything

Maybe she is not a Hollywood and Bollywood star she says she is, but her life story is Oscar-worth.
Next time you ask me why people don't believe media, wait a second , andread this post, noq one ever checked anything, before inviting her

-her Hollywood movie was her picking up berries for like 5 seconds, in a movie about absynth

-Indian "super production" was called green curry law or something

Trump got 67k more votes in Colorado than sleepy Joe, now you know why they wanted him off the ballot.

Sources:

I was noticing that across the board. I realize that Joe is the incumbent, but when the incumbent gets say 100K votes, and the other, supposedly evil, guy gets 4-5 times more votes per state doesn't that not bode well for the 'home' team?
It's still a case of waiting until the election.

The fact that Joe is now, 8 months before the election, offering to do the things he promised to do after the 2020 election is a bit concerning.

The SOTU was interesting... I haven't seen that much energy since the Iran Contra hearings. I'm guessing 'speed' and a teleprompter. He'll avoid debating and hide in the basement now until November.

Thank you @Turd Fergusen

I was actually a little concerned that I was the only one thinking he was on something.
I'm surprised he did a rally Saturday... You can only keep this guy on speed for so long before he's gotta crash. I was kinda thinking he'd retire to the basement for a month or two. I wonder if more folks in the media get curious as to what has perked him up. Maybe Kamala could use a little something herself.

This time around, we'll see him get out and rally. Last time, Trump had Trump working against him. This time, it's Biden working against Biden. The fact that he waited this long isn't going to help him.
