Top microchip makers are postponing their expansion into the U.S. and setting up shop in Israel and Russia due to equity caveats that are required for them to receive grants from the U.S. government.

The Biden administration promised earlier this year that they would be handing out $39 billion in grants to encourage semiconductor manufacturing in the U.S.

Shortly after the announcement however, Intel announced they would be holding off on their Columbus factory, while Samsung also delayed their facility in Texas.

Despite the billions in subsidies, two experts believe the tech companies' decision to back out of building manufacturing facilities in the U.S. stems from the diversity, equity and inclusion policy.

In an opinion piece for The Hill, CEO of Strive Asset Management Matt Cole and head of research at the company, Chris Nicholson, say the subsidies are so 'loaded with DEI that it can't move.'

I was just discussing this with a group of executives from the valley, all Brandon's/Obama's business decisions hurt American companies
The discussion started, with the billions no one is getting for chip expansion, so much for not being dependent on other countries

The two writers of this article are from Strive Asset Management , the "anti-woke" firm started by Vivek Ramaswamy.

However, that doesn't make money for them it turns out:
From Strive's Board of Directors:
"The firm, Strive Asset Management, is seen “as political over investment oriented,” turning off some investors and limiting its opportunities to grow."

Turns out they care more about making money than political crusades, and anti-woke wasn't making them richer. Awwwww.

*******
The horrid "HAMAS-like" requirements for free money?

Childcare (AND adultcare, which is in another section. Yes, turns out the government understands that caring for your elderly parents can economically cripple you and the economy. That's that damn "woke" for ya...)

The specs say:
"Applicants requesting CHIPS Direct Funding over $150 million are required to include information on how they will provide access to affordable, accessible, reliable, and high-quality child care for facility and construction workers. While applicants may consider on- or near-site child care, applicants may also secure other arrangements, such as subsidizing the cost of child care (i.e., providing financial assistance) or partnering with off-site providers to ensure availability for worker"

From the Strive Asset Management article:
"In a 2023 report from the Bureau of Labor, they said that 10.8 percent of construction workers in the US are women.

Despite the small numbers, companies must ensure they have childcare for the workers and engineers who, according to the two, 'don't exist yet.'"

What they mean:
Women are the only ones that need or use childcare, they're only 10% of construction workers (no mention of subsequent factory workers) so
fuck this noise. Stupid, stupid woke people.

**********
The specs say:

Training and hiring:

I'm paraphrasing for brevity.
" We want these grants to bring jobs to underdeveloped areas. Some training courses might bring the locals up to snuff. Also, we'd like you to at least look at local VETERAN -owned and minority or women owned businesses to work with your company.
Yes VETERAN-owned businesses are included in DEI."

The article:
Paraphrasing for the actual meaning:
"Hiring vets, women or minorities to invest in American jobs with your free money?? Nope, we'd rather hire Russians who will work for $591.00 a month.
We want to get richer, fuck the American economy! Bwahahaha!"

***********

This is the last gasp of a failed company, and speculative grasping at straws. They don't speak for Intel or any other tech company nor the reasons for upcoming business decisions. Just trying to push anti-woke down our throats.

Imagine, being against the hiring of our American veterans??

You can twist and turn facts all you want
Reality is Brandon has tied unreasonable red tape to the money and we'll fall further behind in chip production, because other countries make better offers. Obama did the same to construction, added so much bureaucratic red tape, construction almost came to a standstill
$50 minimum wage also sounds great, but just as unrealistic. Companies will build where they get the best deal and Brandon's offer falls far short

Here's a couple of articles about the discrimination against job applicants because of their veterans status, and how countering that is an important part of DEI efforts.

Love Seinfeld, but I understand now why stereotypes like this aren't helpful to veterans.

This 3rd Obama administration will give the money to companies that agree to the unreasonable demands. The companies will take the money give themselves raises, huge bonuses and insane golden parachutes than file bankruptcy like Obama's Solyndra. The united state will fall further behind in chip manufacturing and our taxes will go to favored administration executives
There isn't a company out there not looking for qualified employees, being forced to hire unqualified employees is the death of a company
People like Biden and Obama that always lived on the peoples tax dollars, inside trading and freebies from friends have no idea what it takes to create a quality product and bring it to market, besides they have no issues giving away other people's money to failing friends, that they will benefit from in the long run
