Disturbing video released Wednesday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows smugglers dropping two toddler sisters from atop a 14-foot-high barrier at the U.S.-Mexico border in New Mexico.

The incident occurred Tuesday evening just west of Mount Cristo Rey, where a Border Patrol camera operator spotted the smugglers by using infrared camera technology.

According to the agency, one of the suspects dropped the Ecuadoran children, ages 3 and 5, then both smugglers fled the scene on foot and "abandoned the helpless little girls on the north side of the international boundary line."

The camera operator notified fellow agents and directed them to the remote location, where they found the young sisters and rendered aid. Both girls were alert when the agents located them, officials said.


The children were transported to the Santa Teresa Border Patrol Station for evaluation, then to a hospital as a precaution. They were medically cleared and remained in temporary custody of the agency, pending placement by the Department of Health and Human Services.

The minute a child comes across the border unaccompanied they should be considered abandoned and the parents rights should be terminated in absentia.

While age can be a slippery slope any teen over the age of fourteen should be turned back and not allowed in.

The parents of the two girls who were caught on video getting dropped over a border fence and left in a remote section of New Mexico by a pair of smugglers are in touch with their daughters and hope to reunite with them, Telemundo reported.

The grandparents of the children, identified as Yareli, 3, and Yasmina, 5, have asked President Biden to reunite the kids with their parents, who are already in the United States.

“That they help us, that these two innocents are together with their parents, so that they can give them love themselves,” Manuel Macas, the girls’ maternal grandfather, told the outlet.

The girls’ parents, Yolanda Macas Tene and Diego Vacacela Aguilar, left their two daughters to travel to the US from Jaboncillo, Ecuador — a remote, mountainous town near the western coast of the country, family told the outlet.

Their dad, Diego, paid a human smuggler to take the kids across by themselves, but the grandparents don’t know how much they paid and the subject causes them great anguish, the outlet reported.

“[The parents] wanted to be with them, their mother suffered a lot, for that reason they decided to take them,” paternal grandfather Lauro Vacacela told the outlet.

“Yeah, it can be a bit risky, so to speak,” Vacacela said when asked if he was concerned that his son and daughter-in-law paid a coyote to bring the kids across the border.

Any American parent would have to fight tooth and nail to get their child out of foster care if they left their child alone to go to the corner store.

Yeah we read about tragedies where kids are returned to parents that they should not have but the usual scenario is that parents hav to jump through hoops to get their children back.

Are officials will end up asking these two bio-donors are their any relatives we can place them with and will probably not even verify that they are truly related to these children.

I wish all the bleeding hearts realize that funds are being diverted from American children in care to house, educate and provide medical care to these non- American children.

So Fuck Anyone who gets mad at this statement because I am not excluding any children but if "Black Lives Matter" than all of that money they are spending on Latin American children should go to the care of Black children in the foster care system.

Magdalena Nunez, of the Consulate of Ecuador in Houston, didn’t have a timeline on the reunion between the girls, Yareli, 3, and Yasmina, 5, and their parents, Yolanda Macas Tene and Diego Vacacela Aguilar — but believed it would be in a matter of days.

“We need to verify the identity of the parents and confirm they are the parents and make sure they are in good condition to receive the girls,” Nunez told The Post on Thursday. “It’s a process … We’re working to make sure it’s an expedited process and the girls spend as minimal time as possible separated from their parents.”

She added that the girls are “doing very well.”

“We have been in contact with them and confirmed they are in good health,” she said.

“Physically, they are perfect — emotionally, obviously, they went through a hard time, but I guarantee you right now they are in good health and they are conversing,” Nunez added. “They are very alert, very intelligent.”


The mom and dad had left the girls behind at their home in Jaboncillo, Ecuador, to travel to the US, family told Telemundo.


The girls’ grandparents have asked President Biden to reunite the children with their parents. Aguilar paid a human smuggler to take his kids to the border — though the grandparents didn’t know how much they paid, the network reported.

well i sure wish that all illegal immegrants , including these 4 that after re-united with their parents, should be deported back to their country and they could, like others, apply to come legally into the country. this doesn't only apply to usa but very much so to canada also. both countries have so many homeless and yes families also living on the street, and our resources goes to illegals. that makes no sense to me at all.
