At least 5,000 anti-Israeli protesters filled the streets of Bay Ridge Saturday at a rally where they called for the eradication of the Jewish state and demanded the United States withdraw its support of its closest ally in the Middle East.

Around 2 p.m., demonstrators converged on 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, packing the streets and sidewalk for the “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” demonstration in one of the largest Arab and Middle Eastern communities in New York City.

“We are calling for full liberation of all of Palestine . . . to every single inch, from river to the sea,” shouted one protester, repeating a refrain used by Hamas terrorists and their anti-Israel backers.

“We are not like other groups simply calling for a cease-fire,” added the woman, wearing a T-shirt of one of the event’s organizers, the radical leftist group Within Our Life.

“We are calling not simply for an end to genocide. We are calling for an end to the siege, an end to the blockade. An end to the occupation.”

The anti-Israel mob included all ages, from young children to 20-somethings to gray-haired elders.

“Say it loud, say it clear, we don’t want no Zionists here!” protesters cheered while beating on drums and waving Palestinian flags.

“We will free Palestine within our lifetime!” the crowd cried, holding signs reading, “Zionism is genocide” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied.”

Many attendees weren’t surprised by Saturday’s show of force for the rally, which was promoted as a demonstration for the “end [of] US-sponsored genocide in Gaza.”

“It’s Brooklyn, so it’s little Palestine,” one protester named Amy said. “I’m here because I’ve been feeling angry about what’s happening, and coming out here and yelling in support with the community is a good thing for everyone.”

Critics tore into the marchers for their radical demand calling for the end of Israel.

“Whole neighborhood are Hamas supporters. Disgusting,” one seethed on X.

“This Bay Ridgeite thinks if Hamas didn’t kill >1,000 civilians, including the beheadings of women and children, they wouldn’t be in this predicament,” another wrote.

The NYPD confirmed that an unspecified number of demonstrators were taken custody.

Hundreds of anti-Israel Protesters Stormed the Lobby of the New York Times Building and Called for the Elimination of Israel

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters descended on Bryant Park Thursday afternoon and later occupied the lobby of the New York Times building as they called for the elimination of the Jewish state and accused President Biden of backing “genocide.”

The crowds of demonstrators labeled Israel a “terrorist state” while chanting “From river to the sea, Palestine will be free” – a phrase known to call for the eradication of Israel — as they marched through midtown on Thursday evening.

The large rally is the latest in a series of fiery protests to engulf the Big Apple since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack that led Israel to launch retaliatory strikes.

“Biden, Biden, you can’t hide, you’re supporting genocide,” protesters also yelled just hours after the commander in chief told reporters there is “no possibility” of a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.

Protesters occupied the lobby of the Times building as they chanted outside of it and handed out mock newspaper copies of “The New York War Crimes.”

“We will continue holding the New York Times to account… for inciting genocide,” the chants boomed. “Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for the New York Times. Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crimes.

“New York Times, you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide.”

They also chanted, “F–k New York Times” and “Tell the truth.”

Cops were in the lobby with the protesters who entered and later were able to clear the area.

I've been saying that since this started! And 90% of them don't even pronounce it correctly. The 'h' is silent. Making the use of the word even more obnoxious... :banghead:
