Texas Man Brutalizes Girlfriend's Toddler Son

A Little River County man and a Texarkana woman are in police custody on felony charges related to alleged abuse of the woman's toddler son.

Bobby Kyle Gibson, 29, is being held in the Little River County jail on a charge of injury to a child, according to jail records. Gibson was arrested Christmas Day. The Texarkana Texas Police Department also has warrants for Gibson on charges of injury to a child and child endangerment. A hold has been placed on Gibson for TTPD.

The child's mother, Kelsey Allgor, 26, is also facing felony charges from TTPD. She was arrested in Dallas on a warrant for injury to a child, according to police.

TTPD officers responded Christmas Day to an injured child at a local apartment complex.

"The investigation determined the injuries were the result of the mother's boyfriend and happened in Little River County," said Shawn Vaughn, spokesman for TTPD.
