Monday Morning, June 12, a home inspector prepping for a sale called 911 to report a fire alarm and smoke in the building. First responders found James Reagan, 38, and his 8 year old son, Clark Reagan, in a bedroom, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The bedroom was on fire, but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
The father and son were transported to local hospitals, where they were pronounced dead.
Clark Reagan was a third grader at Foothills Elementary School, where his father was also a teacher. The parents were separated at the time. The police are calling it an apparent murder-suicide.
