A Manhattan teenager who walked free on bail in a trio of robberies couldn’t make it a week without getting arrested again, The Post has learned.
Jordan Gonzalez, 16, was arrested Nov. 19 for three incidents — stealing money from two other teens on Halloween, taking earbuds from a 13-year-old on Nov. 14, and stealing a Canada Goose jacket at gunpoint from a 14-year-old later that day, police sources said.
The day after his arrest, Supreme Court Justice Gayle Roberts released him without bail and referred the case to family court, sources said.
But it wasn’t long before he got picked up again on a pair of attempted robberies Monday.
Gonzalez was arrested after he allegedly tried to rob an 18-year-old then held a knife to a 17-year-old as he shook him down, according to sources.
Gonzalez, 16, was ordered held on $10,000.
The father of a victim in one of those cases fumed that Gonzalez never should have been free.
“What is this b____t? And I’m paying taxes for this?” said Isaac Levy, 48, told The Post Wednesday. “If you can get away with pulling out a knife on a kid if you can get away with that, imagine what else you can get away with?”
