A St. Paul man is accused of physically and sexually assaulting a woman he’d just met as the two sat in her vehicle, according to criminal charges.

The woman told officers that she and a man who introduced himself as Chris Page were in her vehicle last May 30. At some point the man grabbed the keys from her ignition and took her cell phone, according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in Ramsey County District Court.

Then he punched her in the face multiple times, causing her to lose consciousness, before forcing her into the backseat and raping her, according to the criminal charges.

Police later identified the man as President Pimpin Austin.

When the woman came to, she went to her ex-boyfriend’s home and he took her to the hospital, where she underwent a sexual assault examination.

Officers who interviewed her noted injuries to her face at the time.

Police arrested Austin, 28, about a week later. He denied knowing the victim and asked for an attorney, charges say.

He initially identified himself to officers as Chris Page, authorities say.

About a month later, the woman picked Austin out of a line-up as her attacker. A sample of his DNA also matched the DNA found on the woman, according to the complaint.

Austin’s criminal history includes first-degree criminal damage to property, malicious punishment of a child under four-years-old, domestic assault and violating a no contact order.

A man with an unusual name has been found guilty of a terrible crime.

President Pimping Austin Sr., 21, was sentenced Monday to six years in prison after being found guilty of domestic assault and whipping his young son with a TV cord.

The charges against Austin came to light last December when his two children, ages 4 and 2, were taken to the Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., by their grandmother, who noticed whipping injuries on the 2-year-old’s buttocks, legs, stomach, and genitals, WCCO-TV reported.

Investigators contacted the children’s mother, who told the officers she had a restraining order stemming from a time when Austin assaulted her after he saw her cell phone and thought she was talking to another man.

The woman told authorities that Austin then took the child into the bathroom and started hitting him with an AV cord jack.

Cops say that after the beating, Austin asked the boy’s mother if a “ding-ding” can get swollen, CityPages.com reported.

Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said the court granted a motion asking for the maximum sentence for the malicious punishment charge and to run the felony domestic abuse sentence consecutively.

A St. Paul man charged in January with assaulting and raping a woman in her vehicle was sentenced to nearly three years in prison Tuesday.

President Pimpin Austin, 28, was convicted of one felony count of third degree assault. Austin was also charged with criminal sexual conduct and another assault charge, but those counts were dismissed.

Austin was sentenced to 2 years and 9 months at the state prison in St. Cloud, with credit for 395 days already served.
