Ocala police have tracked down and arrested a suspect who allegedly forced a woman to perform oral sex while holding a box cutter to her throat.
Leo Allen McFatten, 33, is facing charges two counts of kidnapping, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, sexual battery and prohibiting use of 911 following his arrest Friday afternoon by the Ocala Police Department.
A woman called 911 shortly after 1 p.m. June 16 to report that a man had forced her into the woods. The man, who had been following her, took away her phone and held the box cutter at her throat as he pushed her to her knees. He forced her to perform oral sex and then ran from the scene, the arrest report said.
A second incident occurred on the morning of June 21, when a woman who speaks little English was walking to work at the Auto Zone Distribution Center. She told police a man began following her and pushed her into a drainage ditch. The woman thought the man was trying to rob her so she offered him her backpack. He pinned her down and repeatedly told her to, “Shut up.” He put his hand over her mouth and attempted to drag her into the woods. She bit his hand and got away. She said the man had been armed with a “sharp tool.”
Both women provided descriptions of McFatten. Both identified him in photo lineups.
