Baltimore police are investigating after a six-year-old was killed Tuesday night after being stabbed multiple times.

According to police, officers responded to the 2000 block of Deering Avenue at around 9:20 p.m. to investigate a reported domestic-related stabbing.

When they arrived, officers found a six-year-old boy suffering from multiple stab wounds to the back. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was stabbed by his mother's boyfriend. A person of interest is in custody, police said.

He looks off - Why are women so desperate for a man?

Why are their children never enough for them - it really pisses me off.

It it heartbreaking when the other parent kills a child but it is horrific when a random person with no connection to the child is introduced into the home and the child is at their mercy.

A man who stabbed and killed a six-year-old child last year has been sentenced to life in prison, suspending all but 60 years, State's Attorney Ivan Bates announced Tuesday.
Alan Geslicki, described as a violent repeat offender, was sentenced to life in prison suspending all but 60 years for the stabbing and murder of six-year-old Seron Addison, which occurred in front of his 13-year-old brother on Jan. 23, 2024.

Authorities say that stabbing incurred inside of the child's home and that Geslicki was dating Addison's mother.
"This sentence ensures that a dangerous individual who has continually demonstrated a propensity for violence throughout his life will spend the majority of his remaining years behind bars, unable to inflict harm on another innocent person," Bates said via a statement posted on X.

So mom gets no consequences for bringing a violent repeat offender into her children's lives.

He will be eligible for parole in 25 years so he will be in his late fifties when he will be eligible for parole.
