Sentenced: Mom Attempts To Abandon 2YO Daughter Because The Child “Had Bad Blood In Her”

A woman was arrested on suspicion of trying to abandon her 2-year-old daughter in a north Tulsa park.

Larhonda Brown, 33, told a deputy that she was going to leave the child in O’Brien Park because the child “had bad blood in her,” according to a Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

A couple witnesses, one of them a county park worker, stepped in after they saw Brown yelling at her 8-year-old son and being violent with him, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The boy reportedly was crying and refusing his mother’s commands to leave his little sister.

A deputy who encountered Brown reported she had been drinking.

The Sheriff’s Office also determined through its investigation that Brown had previously tried to abandon children in the park.

The children were taken into protective custody by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

Fucking breaks my heart reading that. She is lucky to have a big brother looking out for and loving her.

This just reminds me one more time, why I am adamant about adopting sibling, so they don't get split up.

I am sure there is an underlying mental health or drug problem that is plaguing this woman.

The Dept. of Human Services and the contract agency assigned need to encourage this woman to surrender her rights.

This is the second time that she has attempted to abandon a child(ren ).

Reunification is not always in the best interest of a child or even the parent.

The next time one or both of these children may not be so lucky and she may seriously hurt or kill them.

That big brother is amazing...good for him, staying with his little sister and trying to protect her. I hope they stay together and they get an awesome new family.
Mom deserves to lose parental rights to both those children.

I wonder what her "reasoning" was for previously trying to leave a child in the park. More "bad blood," or something different.
8 years old, and he already knows what his 'mom' is doing is wrong. That is a good kid, and an amazing big brother.
