Mark Zvolensky will spend 15 to 72 months in state prison for the death of his 2-year-old son last year.
The coroner said Kayden Zvolensky died from head injuries.
Police spent hours investigating and had two cars towed from the scene. It wasn't until four months later that Scranton police charged Mark Zvolensky with causing his son's death, saying he left the child alone in the backyard and then accidentally backed over his son with his car.
Police also said Zvolensky had drugs in his system at the time of the accident.
He pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and providing a urine sample that wasn't his in October.
Kayden's mother, Amber Zvolensky, was facing child endangerment charges, but those were withdrawn.
