Sentenced: Man Gets 965 Years In Alabama Prison For Making Home Videos Of Himself Raping, Sodomizing Child Under 12 With Wife

An Elmore County woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex crimes in June.

Farren Jill Hudson, 36, was arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy and sex abuse of a child less than 12 years old in March of 2023. She was originally charged in neighboring Autauga County.

On March 1, 2024, she was indicted by a grand jury out of Elmore County. The indictment included an additional charge for the production of obscene matter.

According to Elmore County District Attorney C.J. Robinson, the case is connected to a 2021 child pornography case that involved Jason Wade Hudson, Farren’s husband.

ALEA started investigating after Jason Wade Hudson’s attorney brought in a defense expert to examine more than 120 gigabytes of data. There the Hudsons were said to be found in sex acts with minors.

Court documents state Farren Hudson filed for divorce after Jason Hudson was indicted by an Autauga County Grand Jury in March 2022 on 75 counts of possession of obscene matter and sex abuse of a child under the age of 12. The couple married Feb. 29, 2020 and separated March 18, 2022. Jason Hudson is currently out of jail after posting a $600,000 bond.

An Alabama man was sentenced to nearly 1,000 years in prison after he made home videos of himself sexually abusing, sodomizing, and raping a child under the age of 12.

Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Presiding Judge Amanda Baxley sentenced 48-year-old Jason Hudson to a total of 965 years behind bars.

The judge ordered the sentences to run consecutively which means he must complete one sentence before he begins serving time on the next conviction.

“I am so thankful for real life heroes,” said District Attorney CJ Robinson.

“The victim in this case is truly a survivor who was extremely brave for coming forward and never hesitating to confront her abuser.”

Hudson in October was convicted of 84 counts of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, sex abuse of a child, incest, five counts of production of child pornography – including filming sex acts he committed on a juvenile – and 75 counts of possession of child pornography.

Hudson’s wife, 37-year-old Farren Jill Hudson, earlier this year pleaded guilty to sodomy, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Robinson said Jason Hudson downloaded tagged images of child pornography on information sharing platforms and the downloading of those images notified the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children).

Investigators found thousands of obscene images in Jason Hudson’s possession, including videos of male and female children as young as under 2 enduring rape, sodomy, sexual molestation, being tortured with sex toys, lashed with whips, urinated on, and burned by open flames while bound with rope.
