Ohio Grandmother, Mother Charged In Fentanyl Death Of 9MO Girl

Taletha Kropp, 33, was arrested Thursday and charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering children in the fentanyl overdose death of her granddaughter, Makayla Huff. Kropp appeared in court on Friday, where a judge set her bond at $1 million.

Leeonna Cherry, 20, Huff’s mother, is charged with obstructing justice. Police said witnesses told detectives that Cherry was aware of her mother, Kropp’s, daily drug use, specifically of heroin laced with fentanyl. Cherry was released on an SOR bond on Friday.

Huff was in Kropp’s care when she was found unresponsive at a home just after 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 19, police said.

She was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead just before 5 p.m.

Lethal doses of fentanyl were found in the baby’s blood and stomach, authorities said.

I don't know if i believe the grandmother is only 33 because it is a hard 33 and she would have had the mother of the baby at 13.

it's hard to believe that what's in that picture up there is 33, baby's parental unit looks 12, what with the unruly hair and freckles. Obviously neither one of them is old enough to keep a baby alive.

Why do folks fool around with fentanyl, they know somebody is going to die, but they do it anyway.
