A man has been arrested after police say he's accused of shooting at two women and a young boy while chasing them down on I-65 after a possible road rage incident.

Ricky D. Starks, 23, is charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, vehicle theft, probation violation, evading arrest, being a felon in possession of a handgun, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to an affidavit, back in March, two women told police they were traveling with one of the woman's four-year-old child when a vehicle pulled out in front of them along Jenkins Street and blocked them from leaving.

One woman told police she accidentally hit the other car and the driver, who's since been identified as Starks, got out of the car and starting saying something about "showing them something."

Fearing that the suspect had a gun, the women drove off and the suspect chased them on I-65. While chasing them on the interstate, the women told police the driver fired multiple gunshots at their car. The suspect eventually got off the interstate and headed north on I-65.

The women drove back to Jefferson Street and called police. Responding officers report seeing multiple bullet holes on the victim's car. Investigators also received another call later that day about the same vehicle firing shots out of his driver’s side window along Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.

One victim was able to find the suspect on Facebook and handed over his information to police. Police said they reviewed surveillance footage from Jenkins Streetthat showed a man matching the description.

Starks was positively identified through a photo lineup. Police said the vehicle from Jenkins Street was found to be stolen out of Chattanooga on March 9.

Starks is being held in Metro Jail on a $178,500 bond.

Why do we allow these idiots back into society!? Useless piece of shit.. I will be kind humane and ethical.. he can choose life LWOP or lethal injection.. he's proven beyond a doubt he cannot be rehabilitated.. there's no need to put society in danger.. they need two prison systems (violent and non-violent)..
