An El Paso father is accused of attacking his young sons after allegedly taking LSD at their home in the far East Side, police said.

Zakary Frampton, 26, is accused of repeatedly punching his 7-year-old son in the face and throwing him against a kitchen island and hitting his 3-year-old boy and throwing him from room to room, El Paso police said Tuesday.

El Paso police arrived at the home and found the 3-year-old boy with head injuries and the 7-year-old boy with injuries throughout his body, officials said.

The boys were taken to a hospital for treatment. The 7-year-old boy remains hospitalized with serious injuries, police said Tuesday

Frampton was arrested Saturday on two counts of injury to a child following an investigation by detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit.

U.S. Army officials on Wednesday confirmed that an El Paso father accused of violently attacking and seriously injuring his two young boys and then running naked outside his home after getting high on LSD, is an active duty soldier at Fort Bliss.

A neighbor of Zakary Frampton's described it as a chaotic scene that night, and told ABC-7 that residents "caught him on their surveillance cameras running up and down the street naked."

There was no LSD.

?? The article said that he was on LSD, so I think there was. Having tried it in my day, I can understand people see things, but why even do it, around your kids ya know? If theres the slightest chance that they may turn into soccer balls, or something.

I took a lot of LSD and watched a lot of other people take it, too. No one ever came close to becoming aggressive. I believe if it was LSD, it was mixed with something else. However, we may never know unless they did a tox immediately or he decides to say what he was on.

Is a bad trip a possibility? I'm asking because I don't know.

If he knew he was taking acid he would have been aware of the chances of having a negative experience. If he was doped without his knowledge, though, he could have gone right off the rails because he had no idea what was happening to him.

It really does sound like PCP. Maybe someone gave him something they SAID was LSD. He may also have some mental illness such that he wouldn't handle any of it well. I really would like to know.
