A veteran CNN producer who worked “shoulder to shoulder” with now disgraced ex-anchor Chris Cuomo has been indicted on charges of luring young girls to his Vermont ski house for “sexual subservience” training.

John Griffin allegedly used messaging apps to befriend and persuade moms of young girls, telling them “a woman is a woman regardless of her age,” and that he should be the one to “train” their daughters sexually, according to the indictment from the US Attorney of Vermont.

Griffin, 44, allegedly got at least one mom of two daughters to bring the girl to his Ludlow ski getaway, in June 2020.

It was the mom’s responsibility to see that her older daughter, just 13, was “trained properly,” Griffin told her, according to the indictment.

Griffin, a father himself, sent the woman $3,000 for plane tickets so they could fly from Nevada to Boston’s Logan Airport, where he picked them up in his Tesla for the ride to Ludlow, according to court papers

It was there that “the daughter was directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity,” authorities alleged.

Griffin attempted to entice two other children over the internet into sexual activity, according to the indictment, which said he favored apps like Kik and Google Hangout for the alleged misdeeds. In April 2020, Griffin allegedly suggested a “virtual training session” over a video chat, that would include him instructing a mother and her 14-year-old daughter to remove their clothing and touch each other.

In June 2020, Griffin told another mom of a 16-year-old girl that she take a “little mother-daughter trip” to Griffin’s Ludlow ski house for sexual training involving the child, according to the indictment.

Griffin was arrested Friday by FBI agents after a federal grand jury in Vermont charged him with three counts of attempting to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

The government will seek to take the property used in the alleged crimes, including Griffin’s Ludlow ski house, his Tesla, and a Mercedes, according to the indictment.

Maybe instead of our greedy government looking get their hands on the money they should make sure it goes into a trust for this scumbag's kids.

i would think that the money would be better used if the property was sold and the money put into trust for the 13 years old girl cuz at 13 she has no recourse and will do what mom says she has to do. Make it impossible for mom to get her supid ingnorant hands on that girl's money ... My gosh what normal parent would put their child through being sexually abused no matter what "excuses" a man gives, abuse is abuse... A child can't concent to sex... That mom should also be charged.

the mom should be quartered and drawn!

Ewwwwwwww. That is not something that he has any right to do with teenage girls. And he was Chris Cuomo's producer on CNN. Maybe CNN should not hire so many sex pests, creeps, and people who just so happen to enable a family member who also happen to be a creep.

He looks different, yes, but his appearance and general average Joeness reminds me of that of the disgraced redhead comedian who had five women accuse him of sexual misconduct and has since mocked school shooting victims as part of his comedy routine.

He's definitely living up to the seedy context offered by the name John. And why would any mothers agree to such a thing? Was he explicit in his wording toward the mothers?

And now, I can't wait for the conspiracy theories to come out. That "CNN is part of a pedophilia ring operating in the basement of a pizza joint that is protecting Jeffrey Epstein who is secretly alive in Belize and hanging out with robot Hitler and the flocks of twins bioengineered by Fauci and Mengele to summon a race war and travel time to make Trump world emperor forever" or some crap like that. Mainstream media figures arrested on pedophilia is going to have such a reaction.
Give him a van and candy; wait, already have them.

Hi, @inferus! I'm glad to see you back after the hefty break you had.

I second that emotion. She needs to have some way to escape her mother that's better than CPS. I have NO idea how the mom isn't charged with anything related to this. Not even so much as an exploitation charge or a freakin drug test? If anything, that girl's gonna need money for all the years of therapy after this. Many many many fucking years of therapy :/

Veteran CNN producer John Griffin has been criminally charged with enticing minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

The charges against the 44-year-old Stamford, Connecticut, resident were announced Friday by the Vermont Department of Justice.

Griffin was taken into custody by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation after being charged with three counts of using a facility of interstate commerce to attempt to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

He was indicted by a federal grand jury in Vermont Friday and arraigned in a New Haven, Connecticut, federal courthouse the same day.

According to the DOJ, Griffin used messaging applications Kik and Google Hangouts to speak with the parents of minor daughters. Authorities allege his overall goal on the communication platforms was to try to convince the mothers to allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive.

Griffin conveyed thoughts including one that a "woman is a woman regardless of her age," and that women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men, according to the DOJ.

On one occasion cited in the indictment in June of 2020, Griffin allegedly advised the mother of 9-year-old and 13-year-old girls to make sure the older child was "trained properly."

The mother was given $3,000 for plane tickets so she and the 9-year-old could leave Nevada and travel to Boston's Logan airport, said the DOJ.

Eventually, in July of 2020 the mother and daughter allegedly flew out to Boston where Griffin picked both up in his Tesla. The two were given a ride to his Ludlow, Massachusetts, house where he engaged the daughter in unlawful sexual activity, according to the indictment.

Griffin also stands accused of attempting to entice two other children online to engage in sexual activity.

The indictment states that one of the instances took place in April of 2020, when he tried to push a mother and daughter to engage in a "virtual training session" via video. It allegedly involved him trying to guide the mother and her 14-year-old daughter to strip and touch one another.

In the second incident, Griffin allegedly suggested to a woman appearing to be the mother of a 16-year-old girl that the two take a "little mother-daughter trip" to his Ludlow home for the sole purpose of sexual training.

According to the New York Post, each count carries a minimum of 10 years in prison.

The news outlet added that the federal government also has plans to confiscate Griffin's Ludlow home, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla, which were allegedly used in the crimes.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Griffin claims to have worked "shoulder-to-shoulder" with Chris Cuomo since April 2013 "seeing him through each show and producing live breaking news across the country and around the world" on New Day. Prior to CNN, Griffin also worked for ABC, CBS, and Fox News.

CNN should be burned to the ground. And people claim Fox News isn't news. Good lord, CNN lies to your face and people lap this shit up like it is a steak dinner. Liberals are the problem in this country. If you don't believe that, just look at all of the liberal states and how absolutely fucked they all are. And they all have one thing in common. Blue states and liberal lunatics at the helm. SMMFH

Agreed although your statement missed a critical word. It should read, "Sure seems a lot of the LIBERAL elites are sick fucks."

Sick world of Cuomo’s ex-CNN producer John Griffin revealed in police report

Fired CNN producer John Griffin allegedly led a perverted double life in recent months involving the “adoptive” mother of a 9-year-old girl in Henderson, Nevada, who was part of a sordid BDSM ring that included the child, according to court and police documents.

Heather Carriker, 48, of Henderson, was arrested on August 21, 2020, on two counts of child abuse, two counts of sexual assault against a child under 14 and one count of lewdness with a minor under 14.

Griffin’s apparent involvement with Carriker came to light as part of a police investigation in Nevada spurred by the child’s biological mother, Catherine O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan, who apparently took care of her daughter some of the time, discovered a trove of disgusting text messages between Carriker and a man, called “Meet Man,” who helped set Carriker up with at least four other “boyfriends” for BDSM activity, according to the police report.

At one point, Carriker allegedly references going to meet a man described as her “Dom.” Carriker also texted “Meet Man” that she had a “very eager 9yo,” referring to the girl whom she later took with her to meet Griffin in Vermont, who wanted to come see “Meet Man” engage in BDSM activities, the report stated.

Mom of child allegedly abused by CNN producer John Griffin is outraged by delayed arrest

EXCLUSIVE: The biological mother of a 9-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually abused by longtime CNN producer John Griffin spoke out for the first time and questioned why the FBI waited over 15 months to make an arrest.

"I have lost hope in the system completely," said Catherine, 38, in an exclusive interview with Fox News. "The fact that they knew this man, what he was, and what he did to her, and they did nothing for a year and a half, is mind-blowing."

She lost custody of her daughter to her stepdad and his new wife in 2017 after she was locked up on felony charges stemming from gun and drug possession. "I want to know why they waited. Why did they put my little girl on the back burner?" she said.
The 9-year-old told police what her adoptive mom and longtime CNN senior producer did to her during 10 horrific days in July 2020 – but Griffin wasn't arrested until Dec. 10, 2021.

He’s a liberal and cnn producer, that’s automatic hands off as far as the FBI is concerned. Remember Hildabeast, found innocent before investigating and interviewing. Hunter Biden can do no wrong, nothing to see here move along. The FBI has become a joke, honest American citizens have lost all respect

Now, Henderson police and court records show that the woman accused of traveling with a child to Vermont is Heather Carriker, 48. Carriker was charged in Henderson Justice Court in August 2020 with child abuse, sexual assault against a child under 14, and lewdness with a minor.
Henderson police said an investigation of Carriker started when a witness found concerning text messages and photos on the woman’s cellphone.

“(The witness said) Heather had gone out to Vermont to visit a man named John Griffin who she met on an online porn/sex page,” police said in an arrest report for Carriker.

The witness also told police about the child going on the trip and said she was concerned, because it was her understanding that the child had been left alone with Griffin.
Henderson police said their investigation ultimately showed that Carriker went to Griffin’s home to engage in bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism, and that the child was forced to participate.

Carriker, police said, at first denied wrongdoing in an interview with police, but she later admitted that the child photographed her “to document the progress of bruising (Carriker) received during consensual play with her boyfriend.”

A former CNN television producer pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to using interstate commerce to entice and coerce a 9-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity at his Vermont ski house.

As part of the plea deal, the government will drop the two remaining counts of enticement of a minor against John Griffin, 45, of Stamford, Connecticut.

According to the plea deal, Griffin met a woman on a website during the summer of 2020 and persuaded the woman to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his Ludlow, Vermont, ski home for illegal sexual activity.

Griffin paid the woman and girl to fly from Nevada to Boston, picked them up and drove them to his Vermont home where the girl said Griffin sexually assaulted her, court records say.

Griffin was arrested on Dec. 10, 2021, a day after he was indicted by a grand jury. He originally pleaded not guilty to three counts.

A former CNN television producer who had pleaded guilty to luring a 9-year-old girl into illegal sexual acts was sentenced Tuesday to more than 19 years in prison and an additional 15 years of supervised release during a U.S. District Court hearing in Vermont.
John Griffin of Stamford, Connecticut, pleaded guilty in federal courtin December to using interstate commerce to entice and coerce the girl to engage in sexual activity at his Vermont ski house.

As part of the 2022 plea deal, the government dropped two remaining counts of enticement of a minor against Griffin, then 45 year old.

Griffin had initially pleaded not guilty in 2021. He has been ordered to pay restitution to the victims.

According to the plea deal, Griffin met a woman on a website during the summer of 2020 and persuaded the woman to bring her daughter to his Ludlow, Vermont, ski home for sexual activity.

Griffin paid the woman and girl to fly from Nevada to Boston, picked them up and drove them to his Vermont home where the girl said Griffin sexually assaulted her, court records say.

Ex-CNN producer John Griffin sentenced as victim speaks out about abuse

A disgraced CNN producer accused of child sex abuse heard from the young victim that she will “never trust anyone again” as he was sentenced to more than 19 years behind bars.

The Princeton University graduate told Judge William K. Sessions III that he acted without considering the consequences, because “people were no longer people, they became screen names” when he met them online, VT Digger reported.

Griffin, a father of three, convinced a woman he met online to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his $2.5 million Ludlow ski hideaway, where he molested the child, prosecutors said.

He also paid the mother $3,000 in July 2020 to fly from Nevada to Boston, where he picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his home, and directed the girl to engage in sex acts.

The girl’s mother, Heather Carriker, has also been slapped with child abuse and child sexual assault charges, though there are no updates on her case.

As part of Griffin’s plea deal, the two additional charges against him of enticement of a minor were dropped.
