I've read stories from people who have worked in slaughterhouses, and many of them said that many of their co-workers enjoyed their job way too much, and even went out their way to unnecessarily torture and brutalize the animals. I don't think they're making that up. It seems to me that that line of work just naturally attracts people who are very sick, twisted, and fucked up...
