Semaj Antonio Moss, 18,has been arrested and charged with malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault.
Tifton, GA (October 7, 2020) – On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at approximately 7:30 AM, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Tifton Police Department to investigate the death of 9-year-old Alazia Johnson.
At approximately 7:20 AM, Tifton Police Officers responded to the Peterson Apartments where Alazia was found stabbed to death. Agents and investigators are actively investigating this incident as a homicide. Alazia’s body was taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office in Decatur where autopsy results are pending.

A 9-year-old victim who was killed in Tifton has been identified, according to Melissa Carrol, Tift County deputy coroner.
Alazia Johnson, who goes by Ally, was identified as the victim.
Tegina Brown, Ally’s mom, is a single mother.
Brown told WALB she was working when Ally was stabbed to death in their apartment.
“I have to work to support my kids. I had to go to work that night. And I just came home and found my baby,” she said.
Brown said she hopes the police can track down the person down, and justice is served for Ally.
