4-year-old Nahla Miller died Wednesday at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a coroner’s report shows.

According to the prosecutor, Miller was removed from life support Wednesday and passed away.

Court documents say Tianna Robinson, the girl’s mother, was arrested on April 13 for allegedly punching and strangling the 4-year-old.

“This complaint is based on investigation and admission from Tianna Robinson that she punched the 4-year-old victim multiple times before strangling her until she stopped breathing,” the document states.

Court documents show Robinson’s boyfriend, Rensley Washington, was charged with endangering children and obstructing justice in connection with the girl’s death.

They indicate he lied to investigators about the 4-year-old’s injuries claiming she fell off a scooter and was injured.

Robinson is in jail on a $1 million bond for attempted murder, endangering children and felonious assault charges.

According to court documents, Washington was one of the child’s caretakers, and observed "prolonged physical abuse resulting in serious harm" of the 4-year-old child "resulting to serious physical harm in addition to malnutrition."

Back in July of 2020 Nahla’s mother cut off communication with our family out of nowhere, refusing to answer any phone calls and soon after blocking everyone’s number. We have pleaded for a court date as well as called for multiple wellness checks to Cincinnati police and were told “nothing can be done if they don’t answer the door” skip ahead to April 13th and this is the first time anyone has contact with Nahla. Less than two weeks before the custody trial and she’s in the hospital brain dead weighing 22lbs at the age of 4 because her OWN mother her boyfriend have been starving and literally torturing this poor innocent baby. When the police discovered Nahla she had been choked to death and physically abused. She had gone 30-40 minutes without oxygen to her brain, her pancreas was lacerated and her internal organs were so damaged that surgery wasn’t possible to perform. Once again, she weighed only 22lbs and her finger tips were burnt. This was a beautiful healthy girl FULL of energy and spirit with her entire life ahead of her just 9 months ago. April 21 sweet Nahla passed away in result of this evil senseless act. Please spread this story to raise awareness for Nahla and all the other children being neglected by our broken system. Whether it’s a donation, sharing Nahla’s story, or a prayer for Nahla, we thank you.

The penis has his own newborn and hooks up with dinosaur headed bitch to torture and abuse her child.

What the hell is wrong with these bitches that they won't give the baby to the father if they don't want them.

She was probably jealous of her child, I guess a pretty light skinned baby was not enough for her.

The mother accused of beating 4-year-old Nahla Miller, who died after nine days on life support, has been charged with murder and will face the death penalty, prosecutors announced Monday.

Nahla spent nine days on life support before dying from her injuries. Prosecutors had previously charged Robinson in Nahla's beating but added charges regarding her death.
"I don't think folks understand the torture, the pain and the senselessness of what happened here," Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said.

When Nahla died, she was only 23 lbs and severely malnourished, Deters said.
Police reported Robinson admitted that she "punched the 4-year-old juvenile victim multiple times before strangling her (until) she stopped breathing."

During the press conference, Deters said that Robinson and her boyfriend Rensley Washington, 25, left Nahla at home alone while they went shopping at Kroger.
Upon returning, Nahla had urinated on herself, because she not toilet-trained and her mother snapped, according to Deters.

Deters said had the following injuries: a broken left arm, bruising to the lower lungs, adrenal glands, diaphragm, liver, stomach, colon, pancreas and mouth. Bleeding in the muscles in the throat, bleeding in the back of the head, a significant burn to the back of her right hand.
There was evidence on Nahla of long-term abuse, Deters said. She was scarred head to toe, he said. In addition to scarring, she had a history of strangulation marks including ligature marks on her neck and she had a healing broken rib, a lacerated hymen and vaginal bleeding.

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office ruled Nahla's death a homicide. The cause of death was determined to be strangulation and blunt force trauma, resulting in significant internal injuries.

Not toilet trained at 4, so something was amiss. Either mom was negligent in never bothering to train her or the girl was delayed or had some other issue. Neither of those reasons would be the child's fault, of course. Mom probably hated the sperm donor and just wanted rid of the reminders. Mom didn't snap; she had been abusing her daughter consistently.

@Mountaineer95

I think it is more hatred for the father of the child than it is any assistance they might get.

It is also a sick reality but most of these women know that there are men who will pick them because they have children.

These men use the children as an excuse to play stay at home baby sitter while the mother works and turns a blind eye to any abuse her child is enduring.

In the cases where the mother participates in the abuse or killing of the child I would feel safe to say the mom is showing her man she stands by him regardless of what he is doing and is herself frustrated that the child of her father does not care or want her in any way- even just sexually. (sorry for the run-on)

The paternal grandmother of a 4-year-old who died after months of abuse said the child's mother deserves the death penalty.

Tianna Robinson faces capital punishment, accused of causing the death of her daughter, Nahla Miller, in 2021. Robinson's boyfriend, Rensley Washington III, is charged with obstruction after investigators said he lied twice during the case.
Washington's pretrial hearing is scheduled for March 25, while Robinson is not expected back in court until August for a competency hearing.

Miller's paternal grandmother, Monica Greene, cried as looked at photos of the 4-year-old Monday.

"How do you hear her scream and you don’t do anything?” Greene said. “This isn’t just a children services issue. What do we do as a community to stop this or bring more awareness to child abuse?”
Greene said she and her son, Nathaniel Miller, reported abuse suspicions in fall 2020 after Robinson stopped letting them see the little girl.

“We sent the police over there to a couple of (wellness) checks,” Greene said. "They don’t come to the door."

By January 2021, Nathaniel Miller applied for custody. The court date was set for April 30.
Springfield Township Police Department said April 13 Robinson called 911 to report the child passed out. Paramedics took Miller to the hospital, where doctors put her on life support.

Court documents said Robinson later admitted to punching and strangling the girl until she could no longer breathe, and doctors at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital said they observed signs of "prolonged physical abuse" when Miller was admitted.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said doctors documented a broken arm, internal bleeding and bruising as well as a burn on her hand from the incident. He said doctors noted months of prior abuse and malnutrition.

Miller was 23 pounds, half of what a healthy 4-year-old weighs, when she was admitted. She died nine days later.
“His court date was the day we buried her,” Greene said. “The day could have possibly gotten custody is the day we had to say our final goodbyes.”
In May, Deters announced he was seeking the death penalty against the mother. He said he believes the couple left the toddler alone at the home while they went to the grocery store. When they returned, she had a bathroom accident.

"She was not toilet trained, had urinated," Deters said. "The mother snaps, attacks Nahla, hits her, strangles her."

Deters said Miller endured tremendous torture while under her mother's supervision.
“She deserves the death penalty," Greene said. "She deserves 10 times over."

In June 2021, Robinson's attorneys filed a 40-page motion to dismiss the capital components of the case. They argued Ohio’s death penalty can be imposed for arbitrary or discriminatory reasons and that it is “constitutionally intolerable.”
A judge has yet to rule on that. The following month, Robinson's attorneys argued she is incompetent. They wrote in the court document that she cries, makes incoherent responses and shuts down with her head on the table.

A judge ordered six months of mental health treatment at Summit Behavioral Health. In February, a judge ordered another six months of treatment.

Prosecutors plan to hold a pretrial hearing for Washington March 25, saying he told investigators Miller was hurt on a scooter and that he and Robinson brought her to the store with them.
In addition to the motion to dismiss the death penalty component, Robinson’s attorneys have applied for a change of venue.

In addition to her charges, Robinson’s boyfriend, Rensley Washington was also arrested and convicted for his involvement.
