" Tulsa Police Department's Special Victims Unit has been investigating reports of a Goodwill Industries employee, Mark Davenport, that has allegedly sexually abused multiple vulnerable adults that were also working at Goodwill.
Davenport is alleged to have sexually abused three adult female victims.
The victims, who because of physical or mental disabilities, were substantially impaired in the ability to meet essential requirements for mental or physical health or safety, or to protect themselves from abuse, verbal abuse, neglect or exploitation without assistance from others.
They are therefore determined to be "Vulnerable Adults" pursuant to the Protective Services for the Elderly and for Incapacitated Adults Act."
"... when Davenport allegedly sexually abused two of the victims, he did so while assuming the responsibility for their care, wellbeing and safety while employed by a contact provider for the State of Oklahoma.
One victim reported that while being supervised by Davenport, he kissed her on the month, fondled her, forced himself on her, sexually assaulted her and telling (sp) her not to tell anyone.
The lead SVU detective confirmed that Davenport was assigned to supervise the victim at Goodwill at the time of the alleged sexual abuse."
"The investigation identified another victim at a separate Goodwill Donation Center who met with SVU detectives and disclosed a sexual relationship with Davenport."
"The victim reported Davenport would take her to a corner of the building the security cameras couldn't catch and told her that the security cameras couldn't see them and to not tell anyone about their relationship or he could get in trouble.
She also stated that he would kiss her, expose himself and forced her to do the same and would sexually assault despite her telling him to stop."
