Davianna Hyde, 25, was charged with aggravated assault after her partner claimed she struck him in the back of his head with a silver object when he tried to leave because she invited another woman over.
On October 15th, Metro Nashville Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Carl Howse stated to police that he and Davianna Hyde were having a verbal argument in their home because she had a friend by the name of Markeisha Bird over. He believed Davianna was trying to have sex with Markeisha and it made him upset.
Carl packed his things and tried to leave the apartment. When he attempted to walk out he felt something hit the back of his head. He looked back to see Davianna holding a silver item and a large amount of blood ran down his back. Carl left the apartment and contacted the police. Officers noted a wound on the back of his head and he was taken to St. Thomas Midtown by medics.
Davianna confirmed his story but told officers she never touched him physically. She claimed he hit his head on a wall. Markeisha, a witness to the event, claimed she did not see Davianna cut him but refused to cooperate until she knew Davianna was being placed in custody.
She is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Davianna Hyde was arrested on Sunday afternoon, after she admitted to smashing the windshield of her boyfriend’s car, and then broke through the door he had barricaded himself behind, to attack him with a metal pipe. She is currently free on a $7,500 bond.
Police responded for a reported domestic disturbance. The victim told police he was arguing with his girlfriend, 24-year-old Davianna Hyde. At some point the argument escalated when Hyde began yelling and throwing things around the house. During that portion of the argument, the victim disarmed Hyde of a knife she was carrying, and said her finger was cut in the process. The boyfriend/victim them barricaded himself in his room, in fear of her.
