Leila Ralph was charged with domestic assault after beating her husband with a belt buckle during a dispute about her cheating with another man. She reportedly threw “whatever she could get her hands on” at him.
On June 22nd, officers received a call regarding an eventual domestic dispute in Goodlettsville. Upon arrival, contact was made with both parties, who are husband and wife. The husband,
Eric Scott, informed law enforcement that a verbal argument arose between the two parties due to Ralph allegedly forming an additional relationship with another male. Ralph responded to the accusation by beginning to throw plates alongside “whatever she could get her hands on” at her husband. Witnesses confirmed that when Ralph began to throw items at Scott, their eldest child was nearly struck as a result of the assault.
Officers observed several bruises on Scott from a belt buckle that was in possession of Ralph. The wife reportedly swung the belt at her husband’s head, arm, shoulder, and back regions making contact with all four areas. Scott denied the opportunity to press charges. However, due to the apparent injuries sustained to Scott’s person, Ralph was placed into custody for domestic assault,
