25-year-old Alexandra Schroth was charged with domestic assault after she strangled her ex-girlfriend with a phone charger cord, bit her wrist, and broke her iPhone while she was driving.

On May 5th, Officers responded to a domestic violence call where they made contact with the victim, Tanjala Wynn. Wynn told the officers that the defendant, Alexandra Schroth, was in Wynn’s white Toyota Ranger with Wynn driving, and Schroth attacked her from the passenger seat. She told police that they argued which became physical when Schroth choked Wynn with a phone charger, bit her right wrist, and broke Wynn’s phone all while Wynn was driving.

She reported that she saw Schroth leave on foot after the altercation. Officers then saw Schroth heading back to the scene where she was placed into custody. The victim declined to be transported to safe place. According to the affidavit, there is possible video footage via surveillance cameras from the Exxon located on 2736 Warford Street.

Alexandra Schroth was released on her own recognizance.
