this makes me very sad. first, 4 people died over some bullshit. that dude is a psycho, and as a fellwo rapper that rhymes about killing the shit out of a lot of people in mostly every song i ever write, i am ashamed to be a peer. such behavior is to be shunned, aside from where it is deserved (re: vigilantism).

second, i'm sickened by the cabal consisting of the media and small minded bible thumping idiots from hickland attacking musical genres and bringing in "occult experts" because they cannot grasp that some INDIVIDUALS are deeply disturbed internally, which others do not get to see ever. i think it's just those deep inner thoughts, as this kind of stuff is often not on paper and many cannot grasp without finding a tangible scapegoat of some kind, and in this instance, he used music to express such. so it's the music's fault. therein lies the thought process of a fool, folks. at least we are a rational bunch here.


regardless of whatever, i bet the chick who's parents are the preacher and ex-cop/current criminal justice whatever she is couldnt fucking stand their lectures and handholding at all.

i hope they get to the bottom of this, figure out what exactly was running through this dude's mind, and may all the lives lost rest in peace, as well as peace to the friends and loved ones of the deceased.

PS, no one thought to bring up the fact that this dude's dad said if he went out there not to come back. i wonder if that played a role. too many questions, not enough answers :dong:

Well played, sir. I think that when people (society at large) don't understand a certain clique (punk ass white trash youth), they try to find something that binds them together. In this case, they point to the music. But nobody is looking at the societal shortcomings and lack of upbringing that causes them to feel the way they do, and hence worship the music that they like.

For instance, I grew up listening to punk and metal. The reason why is because I hated (and still do to some degree) any type of establishment. The music reinforced how I felt. People thought that my group of friends was bound by our music. In reality, some listened to rap, some listened to REM. What bound us was our dislike of rules and authority.

I don't know what was missing in this kid's life. I think that he got caught up in the romantic idea of being a part of something larger than him. Couple that with his internal anger (about whatever he's angry about), his screwed up relationship/failed online girlfriend, and an unstable mind...Well, this is what you get.

But for some reason, this kid is just plain evil to me.

all such "counterculture" music is great for that specific reason, at least not the poser stuff that comes out on the majors now. the establishment has its own head up its ass, always has, and always will, at least until someone or something decapitates it, drains its blood, and flushes it down the sewer. as a musician, let's just say i'm trying to do my part, but i'd never raise an actual finger or a weapon against fellow man unless endangered.

my music of choice was always 'gangsta rap', but i aint a gangsta or thug (i know plenty who are though), i work at a financial company in manhattan. despite that, i'm sure there are some churchgoers out there who think i'm scum and wouldn't want me near their daughter, even if i promise to have 'er home by 10. so much of it is just superficial, which comes lock stock and barrel with the oversimplified view possessed by those who just don't know any better.

oversimplicity is the plight of the simple man, and sadly because there are more of them than there are of us, it's basically the plight of us all. (have i mentioned i dislike democracy for the same reason?) obviously this dude is very fucked up if he could actually do that stuff, especially to someone he thought he was in love with as well as her family and friend while ASLEEP. really bothers me to read all those happy lovey dovey messages knowing how it all ended. :(

Hmm its a tough call, we have spent months on this trying to make sense of it much like you all have and I tend to think it was about the text messages Emma got on her phone from another guy who was a big shot performer at this little horrorcore cult gathering they had in Michigan, I think Sam went all in so to speak, saved up all his money and really thought he found a new life for himself with Emma and when they met, as we all know its always different in person than online, and she probably didnt get the vibe from him in person and slowly started to reject him and he being the loner he was resented her popularity within this community that he felt so much a part of but was never really taken seriously as a performer by all of them. On the way home from the concert she and Mel were probably texting back and forth with all the new friends and guys they met, giggling and laughing together for a 13 hour trip home while Sam sat there with all the anger and jealousy building up, then when they got back to VA we know he went through he cell phone logs and I would conclude he probably saw a lot of texts between Emma and this other guy perhaps who Sam considered a friend up to this point, making fun of Sam and disrespecting him, when she found out he had invaded her privacy she went off on him and he likely lost it and killed the two girls as they slept then when mom comes in the next morning to tell them breakfast is ready or whatever he whacked her probably not so much out of anger at that point but to cover up what he had done to the girls and buy himself some time, same with the father he had to go also to avoid Sam being exposed for the other 3 murders. Sam then took off in the fathers car down a country road perhaps looking for someplace to ditch the bodies but that didnt work out when he got the car stuck and had to have it towed.


I think after he killed them he may have sent pictures to this other guy Emma was flirting with just to let him know who the boss was and thats pretty much how it all went down.

I think he very much regrets it now and and a defense attorney myself I was very disturbed when he made the comment Jesus told him to do it because that likely sealed his fate for the DP which I am very much against.

So we will just have to see what the state has and what the defense has in mind, I think the only job of the defense at this time is to do whatever it takes to get the DP off the table and save Sam's life with LWOP, I dont see any chance for an acquittal and there is an outside chance for an insanity defense but I think thats playing with fire in a very conservative Christian state like VA and would backfire so I would probably be looking for a plea bargain with stipulation that the DP is off the table if Sam cooperates and I have seen something to suggest that last week when Sam's attorney said that Sam feels very badly for the victims family, that tells me they are setting the table for remorse and possible guilty plea in exchange for LWOP and no DP.

What say you?

Frankly, he always read a bit like a poseur to me. I think you're right on about the motivation behind it. I am not familiar enough w/ the case to know how far away Mom's bedroom is or to know if the murder weapons were brought along or what--- It seems a little lucky that he could kill both girls without Ma hearing anything. Was there a dog in the house?

It's all so terribly fucking sad. He's just a fucking kid. We all look better online. The only thing that is way more horrific than meeting an online friend who is really not your type is meeting one that is.

Then having them reject you.
 
Paximus- Your thoughts on the case are interesting. One thing, however; why would Sam be so jealous when we have heard he was making out with some other girl here in Michigan? Also, what about the narcotics found in the car? Had he stolen them, had he been taking them...

I think there was forethought in his planning. The ball peen hammer and what was the name of the other thing... it's like an axe on one end and a mallet on the other... he must have seen this earlier in his visit and thought about what he was going to do.

Plus, I believe Pixie had stated that either emma or Mel said they didn't really want to ride home with him. I wonder if he had already said or done something to make one of the girls not want to be around him.

It takes a pretty sick mother fucker to beat these people to death beyond recognition with the things he used. To stay in that house with their bodies decaying. To call the police and actually have them go into the basement because he was hearing noises? All the while, he had bodies in a bedroom.... crazy little fuck!

If I were his defense attorney, I would have some serious mental health evaluations done... you'd just have to be a crazy mo-fo to do what this kid did.

I hope he relives what he has done on a daily/nightly basis. What he did was sick. He even called one of his buddies and told them what he did... like it was no big deal.

Yea all the dogs were locked in the basement as noted by the LE who first came to the house when Sam called them and said he heard a noise in the basement, everyone but the father was dead by that point and he let the cops in to check the basement perhaps setting up a story that someone had broke in and killed them, the cops went only down the basement then left and noted the dogs in there and feces everywhere.

The maul and ball peen hammers were likely weapons opportunity that he found laying around and likely at some point even experimented with to see what happens when maul meets head, he may have been that sick.

Its all very fucked up and he is indeed just a kid, I would hope he is spared the DP but thats just a personal thing with me, he no doubt deserves whatever he has comin if he is found guilty.

The PILLS in the car throw me for a loop also, maybe he had gathered them to perhaps kill himself while driving down that country road. Hard to say.

I think Sam made out with the other girl to try and make Emma jealous and get back at her and this act IMO doesnt mean he wasnt very hurt and pissed off at possibly being rejected by her, to the contrary this may be exactly what someone who was rejected and hurt would do to try and get back at Emma and save his own reputation in front of the boys that he didnt need her he could get another chick easy.

As for calling his buddies after we dont know if that was to brag or because he was scared shitless, we will find out during trial.

I like websleuths but they do run a tight ship there and that is ok but I sometimes get put in time outs like I am now because of my passion about certain topics, this place seems a little more liberal and I like that.:proud2:

We did spend a lot of time on this case over at WS and it was a real great group of posters who came together over there so if you have any questions please ask BUT I think you all have it covered just as well here as far as I can tell.

piXy has been great all along and I am pissed off at how the SKR folks have treated her for simply telling the truth, she has never once spoke ill of them that I have seen.

Skep, I agree that this dipshit is a fucking poser. I think that the murder of the two girls was a legitimate loss of control on his part. The other 2 murders were cover ups, IMO.

PAX, as far as him trying to show someone else who was running the show...that's a great point I never really considered. This little fucker was probably picked on his entire life, so I can see him trying to show how he was the boss.

I despise this little shit. He really doesn't deserve to live right now. I don't even take any solace in him suffering in jail, because I think in his mind he might have finally been a tough guy.

They met online and had been talking for about 7 months. Never met in real in life prior. He was 20 and Emma was 16 so many of us think Emma lied to mom about his age. One interesting thing to note was that the search warrant indicated he had a HIGH SCHOOL ID in his wallet so my theory is that he brought that in case mom asked any questions about his age as it seems unlikely mom would allow a 20 year old to stay there with 15 yo Emma?

Their online conversations were very much Emma saying how she loved him and would forever be his etc, very much what you would expect from a 15 year old girl but not so much a 20 year old boy but he responded in kind saying that she was the one he had been waiting for all his life. One of her last comments to him was something akin to "I know my mind always thinks about the worst things but I know I am right about you and you would never do anything to hurt me." Thats not the exact quote but very close, id have to dig it up but it implied she had been hurt before and she was certain that Sam would be the one who wouldnt ever hurt her.

Also his fucking haircut really pisses me off too.:hello:

He had no GF at home but looking back it appeared he was talking to other young girls online and he was also a member of several online dating sites that we know of, it appears though that both he and Emma considered eachother BF and GF at the time of the meeting.

As to why a 20 year old who had dropped out of HS at the age of 15 was still carrying his HS ID, we do not know but perhaps to cover up his real age with Emmas parents.

Any questions just ask, no problem, ive read everything about this case.

Yeah, I always wondered about that. How Emma convinced her mom to let her on-line b/f fly in from across the country and stay in their home. This is everything mom was against from what I remember. Didn't her mom even take a leave from Longwood because of her/their concerns over Emma's latest interest in this genre?

I also never understood why mom and dad drove these kids to this concert. At 15 y.o., I wouldn't have gone to the concert if my parents took me. No way. (Not that my parents would've even offered.) However, times were much different then, but I did attend more than my fair share of concerts (some they knew about, some they didn't).

Our house seemed to be the house where everyone came to when the boys were growing up. For some reason, everyone always ended up here. We even ended up with a runaway for Thanksgiving holiday. Parents had gone out of state and left a 17 y.o. and 14 y.o home alone for a week. 14 y.o. goes missing for one night. When they found her, youngest son brought her here, where they both stayed until her parents decided to come home the following Sunday. (I made their ass stay inside where I could see them the whole time. I was more pissed at these parents than the girls. When they picked them up on Sunday, they tried to start in on getting us to come to their church. True story. I told them that we didn't discuss our beliefs with anyone, and no we wouldn't be interested. WTH?)

I feel sure Emma's mom (and dad) kept a pretty tight reign on her (unlike the dipshits above). I wonder if her mom read the stuff on her computer and texts? This just seems to be a lot of freedom for a 15 y.o. IMO. I just sort of think Emma was going through her defiance phase, especially in Farmville and her mom a professor at Longwood and her dad a preacher. I mean she lived in Farmville. Longwood is about the only thing to do around there. It's just a quaint little town and Emma would've been VERY bored. I think she would've wanted to be the complete opposite of young crowd that makes up this town and probably that mom wanted her to be -- what could be the complete opposite? I can exactly see her liking this type of thing.

And, yes, his hair really does suck. I want to wash it and cut myself.
