Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) indicated Thursday that he plans to introduce legislation that would require President Biden to notify Congress if he takes drugs to improve his cognitive abilities.

“We know that he’s receiving some type of cocktail to help him with his cognitivity, his ability to function – for him to have any energy,” the Tennessee Republican alleged on his “Restoring The Republic” web show.

The first-term congressman argued that his “No Juicing Joe Act” is necessary because the White House refuses to test the 81-year-old president’s cognitive abilities and the American people deserve to know whether Biden takes medication to enhance his performance.

“Since the White House will not give him any test to that end, we’re asking that he submit and notify Congress when he’s taking any sort of cocktail or anything that might alter the state of his mind and his ability to perform,” Ogles said.

In Trump's defense the test he took was 6 years ago, I sometimes forget why I went into the kitchen. The insurance I have sends around a nurse once a year to check and I've had a similar test at least 10 times, I don't remember what their names were.

Draw a clock, mark a particular time, repeat several words that you were told before the test started, they always ask the same words, every time, and several other things that I can't remember, tho I've had this test at least every year for the last 10 years.

The fact that he forgot this guy's name does not mean he has dementia,

I mean at this point just take the test. The whole narrative of "he's a bit awkward in public, but behind closed doors, he's a political genius." is a bit old unless someone's going to open those "closed doors" and let everyone see what they're talking about. In my opinion, it's in the nation's best interest for physical and cognitive tests when we are electing people this old for office. Everyone ages differently.

My own dad, who I work with and love, is 78. He is retiring EOY, and it's for the best. I'm seeing little things, nothing huge but noticeable. A home office contact, John Doe, is now sometimes John or other times Doe. There is a local restaurant in an old train station, one of his favorites, and the last 4 times he has referred to it as "the train station" not the name of the restaurant. For the last 5+ years at work he hasn't wanted to make any changes. The line, "I've done this for 40yrs and been successful, I don't need to change anything" has been uttered more than once. But the world has changed and some, but maybe not all, changes need to be embraced.

I see similar things with this Presidential race. Biden probably thinks similarly, he's been a politician for around 50 some years, he's the ONLY guy than has and can still beat Trump. He knows and has what it takes to get it all done (but sadly does not at all).

My personal prediction is that one or both fucks up big time in this first debate. Big enough that the parties immediately introduce someone (don't ask me who) that is a strong young buck with an agenda of younger, newer, more in touch with the current USA.

I think this debate will be more of a game changer than any in recent memory.
