Rebecca Fenton, 46, (right) was arrested on first-degree murder charges on Friday night. She is accused of killing her husband, Larry Fenton (left), in 2008.
A Clearwater woman was taken into custody

for allegedly killing her husband more than six years ago.
Rebecca Ayn Fenton, 46, was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. by Clearwater Police homicide detectives at the Capri Mobile Home Park near Sunset Point Road and U.S. 19. on first-degree murder charges.
The arrest came several hours after she was indicted by a Pinellas County grand jury in the death of her husband, Larry Fenton.
Larry Fenton, 57, was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in his house
[...]
Feb. 3, 2008.
His wife, Rebecca Fenton, was the one who found his body. She told police she had been exercising in the detached garage behind the house at the time of the shooting.
Rebecca Fenton told police that she heard a noise that sounded like something falling off the roof while she was exercising, but she didn't check on her husband until sometime later. When she did, she found him in a pool of blood.
Inside Rebecca Fenton's car in the driveway, police found a revolver purchased by the victim the prior year.
The investigation showed that the weapon turned out to be the one which killed Larry Fenton; inside the house, a box of ammunition in the master bedroom was missing five rounds.

Hmmmm. Multiple gunshot wounds are unlikely to be suicide (though it is not entirely unheard of). I guess they spent the 6 years making sure nobody else could have possibly slipped in and out of the scene?

Karma, bitch!! Sooner or later she was gonna pay for what she did. Divorce would have been easier, but some people think they're smarter than police.

I'm watching her case now on Snapped. Rebecca was a high-end escort (she'd been arrested a couple times for prostitution, which I disagree with; sex work should be decriminalized, but that's another can of worms), and had a bachelor's in psychology, even worked as a psychologist. What I think is she saw Larry as another trick to turn once she tired of him, and once she tired of her trick, she turned him, by killing him. Don't let this bimbo out.

And she wanted the million bucks instead of what the prenup stated she was gonna get, so she killed him. Poor Larry. He was following his heart while protecting himself financially should they divorce. He played Captain Save a Whore, but nobody deserves to be killed. He loved this bimbo, took great care of her, spoiled her rotten, and she does this.
