This guy had a good thing going, despite some car confusion, but it wouldn't last long.

A police officer in Florida saw his "blue Chrysler not bearing a license plate" and "initiated a traffic stop" on Thursday morning, June 20.

Jeffery Alan Gibson “claimed to have recently purchased the vehicle,” according to his arrest report, “however, due to a lack of a license plate, I requested any supporting documentation indicating Gibson was the actual legal owner of the vehicle.

“Gibson further stated he was gifted the car,” 12 days earlier, and the officer wrote, “This was somewhat verified by a title of the vehicle provided by Gibson which did indicate that the vehicle was signed over to Gibson on June 8,” but then the VIN led to a license plate and a different “registered owner.”
