On June 6, police received a call to the Burger King at 2641 N. Hollywood, according to an affidavit.

A female passenger in a car was reportedly involved in an altercation with employees over a spicy chicken sandwich.

She was later identified as Keonna Halliburton, 20.

The driver, later identified as Tavarus Mckinney, 22, was inside a red Ford Escape with drive-out tags, records show.

After the altercation, the pair left then returned in the car, firing multiple shots from the road into the parking lot, the affidavit said.

Four people were hit.

On June 14, two of the victims gave a statement about the shooting and identified Mckinney and Halliburton.

They’re charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder and four counts of employment of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

I'd rather cook my own at home now that I have cayenne pepper and hot paprika in my spice rack to add to my flour and bread crumb mixture I use for breading my chicken.
Probably won't get shot either

an altercation with employees over a spicy chicken sandwich? Good thing it didn't involve watermelon
Would have led to an all-out massacre

Burger King sucks for everything except mozzarella sticks lol.
The jalapeno poppers aren't bad, either

FWIW, I picked this up from a low-carb recipe site, but it’s totally applicable to any fried chicken: buy some unsweetened and unflavored whey protein isolate and use that in place of some or all of the breading flour. I just tried it in some drummies last month and it was terrific (I did a few drums with traditional flour and another few with a different low carb breading mix) and the whey protein-coated drums were hands down the best. And just like regular breading, you can add all sorts of spices to it. It’s not the cheapest thing, but a little goes a long way. I’d check TJ Maxx for some.

Same. Especially when mom brings over extra free-range birds
