A woman is facing charges after she allegedly allowed a teen to give her 10-year-old son a tattoo.

Nikki J. Dickinson, 34, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor child endangering and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Officers say the mom told them she got "tired" of her son asking, so she allowed him to get the tattoo.

Court documents said Dickinson endangered her son by allowing the tattoo to happen in unsafe, unsanitary conditions. The 16-year-old reportedly frequently gives tattoos at home according to a witness, and investigators say it's believed the teen gave a tattoo to another individual that turned into a MRSA infection.

The 16-year-old teen was charged with two delinquency counts of tattooing prohibitions: performing tattooin in a manner that doesn't meet safety and sanitation standards, and tattooing in a manner that does not meet sterilization and disinfection standards.

Cell phone video of the tattoo went viral last week, prompting many to contact ABC 6/FOX 28 with their concerns.

Don't cry now dumbass. Why did you ever think this was a good idea? No matter how much your son begged you for one.

Guess she's never heard of temporary tatoos.

There's Henna. He could have gotten something pretty good. Just got to check for reactions first.

I thought that if my son had ever shown interest in getting one (I have plenty), I'd probably would have thrown this idea at him first. If I outright said 'hell no', well you know how boneheaded kids can get right?

She 'hired' some underage tattoo noob, probably with a home-made rig. I can only hope he's using decent inks, needles and keeps good sterilization habits (the current situation isn't encouraging this hope). The faster the kid gets under the laser, the faster the ink and scar tissue are gone.

The weird thing is her getting the kid the tattoo isn't illegal in OH w/ the parents consent. It's the fact that she got 16yr "Unlicensed Johnny Tattoo" to do the work out of home that got her pinched.

I got my first tattoo at 14. Mom didn't find out until I was over 18 though. If she did, the day she found out would have also been my funeral.

I have a good friend who it 38. He has 2 tattoo's. He either has to be naked or in a Speedo for you to see them. His dad is still alive and warned him long ago that him getting tattoo's would be dealt with a belt sander. Neither he nor I have a single doubt that that would actually happen. His dad is an old hardcore guy that has a lot a tattoo's he got in the navy during WW2 and now they all look like shit, hence his stance on tattoo's!

Not to mention, less painful than a belt sander LOL !
I saw a YouTube clip of a guy who had had his girlfriend's name tattooed on his arm. When the relationship ended (apparently badly), he had a buddy who owned a garage take the tattoo off with a body grinder.
