The bodies of Kevin Fenerty, 59, and his wife, Siobhan Fenerty, 59, were discovered at their Metairie home after she failed to show up for work, Jefferson Parish sheriff’s officials told NOLA.com.

The couple separated in March, but still shared their home “due only to the COVID pandemic and the government mandated lockdowns” while sleeping in separate bedrooms, according to her divorce petition.

The Fenertys were unable to mend their deteriorating marriage over the nine-month span, culminating with Siobhan serving her husband divorce papers last week, records cited by the outlet show.

Siobhan Fenerty was found with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head.

Sounds like they didnt have the financial means to actually separate. Sad. Living together in such a situation is a recipe for disaster.
I have a friend who is in this situation, for about 18 months now. It would be untenable for me, but she wants to stay together so is glad he hasn't moved out. There is not much chance he will be able to afford to move out any time in the foreseeable future. The whole thing seems nightmarish.
