Rapper Takeoff, best known as one-third of the hip-hop group Migos, was shot and killed Tuesday morning, a rep confirmed.

The “Walk It Talk It” hitmaker, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, died in a shooting after a fight broke out over a dice game at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston, TMZ reported. He was 28.

A rep, who was not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed the rapper’s death to the Associated Press.

Houston Police and fire officials arrived on the scene at around 2:40 a.m. following multiple reports of a shooting.

Footage obtained by TMZ showed Migos member, Quavo, 31, and others gathered around Takeoff, who was lying on the ground. The clip reportedly showed the group trying to move his body before they put him back down and shouted for help.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Two additional victims were transported to nearby hospitals.

Police did not release the identities of the victims, but said the person killed was a man in his late 20s.

Takeoff’s official cause of death was revealed Wednesday via the medical examiner’s office in Houston.
The Migos member died of “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into the arm,” according to records released to Page Six by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The manner of death was ruled a homicide, per the report.

A nurse who assisted after the shooting said she was questioned why she didn't attempt CPR. Her response was, "That would not be appropriate, especially with a gunshot wound. Would never do CPR because you would be circulating the blood, and the blood would come right out of the (bullet) hole..."

Missing a face is problematic for attempting CPR.

A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Migos rapper Takeoff, Houston police said Friday. He was ordered held on $2 million bond during his first court appearance.

Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested Thursday evening in Houston and "charged with the murder of Takeoff," Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said during a press briefing.

Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed in downtown Houston around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, police said. He was 28.

Clark's bond was set at $2 million during a court appearance late Friday night after the judge determined he posed a flight risk. If he is able to post bond, he will be held under 24-hour house arrest, the judge said.

In requesting the $2 million bond, prosecutors argued that Clark posed a high flight risk because he had purchased tickets to Mexico two days before his arrest and applied for an expedited passport.

The defense argued that Clark, who is currently enrolled in college, posed a low risk to the community and said this was his first criminal arrest.
