An anonymous source tells NBC 15 News that Snow was a teacher in Tuscaloosa County before he became a teacher in Mobile County.

A court indictment claims Snow "engaged in sexual intercourse" with a person "who was less than 16 years of age and more than 12 years of age."

The indictment also states, on a separate charge, Snow "did engage in sexual intercourse with... a member of the opposite sex, by forcible compulsion..."

According to BCSO, Snow was arrested at about 5 a.m. on Christmas Eve at his home on Phillipsville Road in Bay Minette. Court records show Snow bonded out of jail for $45,000.

According to the Causey Middle School website, Snow is a sixth grade science teacher and a softball coach."

Rain or Shine, Snow or Fog, you will be arrested for raping teenagers no matter what your last name is.

The sexual assault case against a former Tuscaloosa and Mobile County high school teacher and coach has been dismissed.
Back in February 202o, a former Tuscaloosa County student filed a report with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office that a teacher had sexually assaulted her in the late 1990s.

Following a monthslong investigation into the claims, former Holt High School teacher and softball coach Henry Joel Snow was arrested on Christmas Eve of the same year on two counts of first-degree rape, one count of first-degree sodomy and one count of second-degree sodomy.
Earlier this month, a motion to dismiss the case against Snow, filed by the state of Alabama, was granted by a Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court judge.
