WASHINGTON (TND) — A man facing charges related to a DUI was arrested again after police said he showed up to court to fight that DUI charge while visibly intoxicated.
Tyrone, Pennsylvania man Lawrence Williams, 58, showed up to his arraignment on DUI charges at 11 a.m. while "visibly drunk" and "smelling like alcohol," police said to WTAJ News.
Police said Williams, who had a blood alcohol content of 0.176%, was instructed to drive himself to court in a rental vehicle.
The arraignment was related to a DUI charge from April 22, when Williams allegedly crashed his vehicle into a fence in Belwood, Pa. He is already on probation for two other DUI charges from 2021.
