One of my coworkers asked me last week, when I complained of tummy troubles, if I might not be pregnant. I almost collapsed, then told her I sincerely hoped I was not. She looked shocked, until I told her I was 47 and the thought of what spawn my eggs would produce was the stuff of nightmares.
When she heard my age, she got it.
Jeebus, my one and only is 12 and I adore her. Also, she takes all I have.

The news reports are conflicting regarding her age. Some are stating she is 17(at least 2) and others are stating 18(at least 3). Not much you can do when they're 18.

I agree. I saw a post on the grandmother's Instagram from a few months back, it was a picture of her daughter and granddaughter. She says how much she misses them, and that she hopes her daughter leaves the man she's with bc she doesn't deserve to be controlled, etc. I wonder why then the cops weren't called? Couldn't that have been considered child abuse? Especially if the baby was in this situation.
This one is really fucking with me.. Reading what that baby went through while watching my Leah who is 2 days younger try to sing "the itsy bitsy spider" is breaking my fucking heart.... No mother would ever let what happened to that baby happen and then help get rid of their own child!

I am now crying my face off. After spending a few hours with my amazing 18mo Goddaughter this afternoon, I read this. Makes me sick on so many levels.. I can only imagine the fear and pain this sweet baby felt, while probably crying for her mommy. While her "mommy" watched on, as she is beaten lifeless..

My heart just breaks for that precious baby girl and her grandfather. All I keep seeing in my mind is her beautiful eyes looking to the "mother" for help. Questioning why? And then going into darkness while he beat and stomped her to death.
The poor grandfather must be beside himself. His posts that I saw looked like he was on the verge of insanity trying to get information about his angel Tylea.
Fuck the mother and her mother! Bitches couldn't be bothered telling that loving grandfather what had happened because they "didn't want to get bitched out." FUCK YOU BOTH!! You are nothing but heartless soulless lumps of flesh that need to be eradicated! She laid up with that "man" for 3 fucking days after he savagely beat, killed and buried her daughter! Even if she wasn't emancipated the law is sketchy on 17 year old mothers, they are still minors but if the parent knows where they are the police don't have to go get her.

Except she wasn't a woman, she's a kid, someone should have made her leave or at the least someone should have stepped in and took the baby, called CPS, something...
ETA: she'd only been with this "man" since Feb, really? Roughly 6 months spent with this "man" and you help dispose of your baby!?

I have just recently had my woman-beater magnet removed so I have had more than one relationship end in the cycle of DV. I allowed one husband to repeatedly beat the fuck out of me but the day it stopped was the day he went after my son. He beat me the absolute worse that day but my son escaped physically unharmed and after that day he and I never went back. Granted I was 22 at that time, but Hell was gonna freeze over before he got t hurt my son.

I don't. Obviously she didn't leave and not enough was done. Now there's a dead baby. Everyone is different and I get that and everyone makes decisions they have to live with for forever. I'm just saying I WOULD have done more.

I wouldn't have let her take the baby for starters. I don't know what her parents did or did not do but I would imagine if she could have left her daughter and went and lived with her boyfriend without a baby she would have. I would have convinced her that if she wanted to see what it was like to be on her own and an adult that she should be able to but leave the baby. Again I don't know these people or what their lives were like. I do however know my own children and I'd never let my 17 year old move in with an abusive boyfriend only a few months after dating with my grand baby. Wouldn't happen. No way in Hell.
