"A Mendenhall man surrendered to authorities after a month-long rape investigation.

Investigators say Jamari Brown, 23, is charged with statutory rape and sexual battery of a child under 14.

Sheriff Martin pace said a family member told deputies that Brown met the child over social media. They said Brown came from Mendenhall to Warren County to see the child."
