Authorities say 39-year-old Tyrel Linder is facing animal cruelty charges after being accused of killing several puppies by placing them in a cooler and closing the lid.

Court documents show Linder is accused of placing six puppies in a cooler, closing the lid, and leaving it for "several hours," killing all of them.

Police say Linder admitted responsibility for the deaths of the six puppies.
