Maggie Regan & Boyfriend Fractured Her 5MO Son's Skull

Maggie Nicole Regan and her boyfriend Dylan Scott Hoyle were arrested after her five-month-old son’s skull was fractured.

Polk County deputies said that law enforcement was notified by AdventHealth Polk staff that on Aug. 10, a five-month-old boy was admitted into the emergency department with a skull fracture and other severe injuries.

Regan allegedly told law enforcement she had Hoyle watch her son while she went to work. Shortly after arriving, she said she got a call from Hoyle saying her son wasn’t responding.

Instead of calling 911, Regan allegedly went home and took the baby to the hospital.

The baby was transferred to another hospital that could provide a higher level of care. As of Aug. 22, he remained in the pediatric intensive care unit.

hmmm so why exactly was mom charged? Does the injury/injuries look old and healing-or are they new and happened while in his "care"? Is it because she went home and drove baby to hospital instead of calling 911 right away? I believe there was a case on here like that, arrested parent because they drove child to hospital instead of calling 911 first...need to see how this unfolds w/ new info..and with is under her nose???
