Mother Kills 2 Children, Herself After Shooting At Husband & Woman Outside Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill

Two children and their mother are dead, and another woman is in the hospital after a horrific chain of events overnight in the West Valley.

Glendale Police first responded to a reported shooting near Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill at 61st Avenue and Bell Road just after midnight on Monday.

Jose Santiago, spokesperson with Glendale police, said a man and woman were outside the bar when multiple gunshots were fired in their direction. The man, whose family confirms is Nolan Davis, 39, called 911 and told officers that his wife, Andrea Clarice Davis, 38, drove to the bar and fired shots at the pair, then she fled in a gray SUV.

Santiago said the 36-year-old woman was in her car trying to leave the parking lot when she was shot in the back of the head.

She was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive. Her name has not been released.

Santiago did not confirm the two’s relationship. Nolan was not injured in the shooting.

“Right now, we can tell you they knew each other, but we do not know the extent of how they knew each other, that’s all part of the investigation right now. We do know that they were familiar with one another and there was some type of relationship. How familiar and what type of relationship, that’s unknown at this time,” Santiago said.

Nolan then told Glendale police his wife texted him that she was going to hurt their children. He confirmed that Andrea and their children were at a home near 49th Avenue and Paradise Lane, south of Bell Road, in Phoenix, about two miles away from the Glendale bar.

That led to Glendale officers telling Phoenix police about the unfolding situation.

Shortly after, Nolan received another text message that had a photo of one of the children bleeding from the head. That led to Glendale and Phoenix officers arriving at the home around 2:30 a.m.

“Because we already knew this was a dire situation, officers forced their way into the home and that’s when they encountered this horrific situation,” Santiago said.

Glendale officers found the bodies of two children and Andrea. The mother is accused of shooting them both in the head before turning the gun on herself.

People close to the family confirm her two children are 18-month-old Andolan and 10-year-old Austin.

Andrea’s best friend, Amy Bowers is heartbroken and shocked about what happened to the children, and she can’t believe they’re gone.

She said Andrea and Nolan were together for 12 years and had a great marriage until about a year ago. Bowers said that’s when Nolan started having an inappropriate relationship with a co-worker.

“This relationship that’s been going on between Nolan Davis and his co-worker has completely made her lose her mind. She hasn’t had an issue like this their whole marriage. They haven’t had anything like this come up before. And so I think the shock of that is just a lot for her. She was just, she was not feeling good. And she’s been asking for help from everybody. Like it’s not been secret,” Bowers said.

“I just feel really bad for the babies. I mean, they were really great kids. Really great kids. Andolan is so sweet and she has one of the most beautiful eyes. And Austin, he loves coming and hanging out at my house and playing Mario Party. I painted his whole bedroom. It’s all Mario-themed,” Bowers said.


“When I think about what the kids were going through last night, absolutely breaks my heart because what happened? You know, did she hug them tight? Were they, I don’t know if they were asleep. Like it’s early and that really is the part that’s killing me the most is those babies. I just, I don’t want them to have seen their mom in any different light in that final hour,” Bowers said.

“I feel really bad nobody was thinking about the kids this whole time you know Andrea was stressed because Nolan was talking about leaving and she was like, ‘What am I supposed to do with the kids?’” Bowers said.
