According to CBS News, 26-year-old Kearve K. Williams was taken into custody after he allegedly sexually abused and robbed a child.
Authorities said a girl was seen being approached by a man on surveillance video at around 7 a.m. on Monday after she missed the school bus, per the network.
Per the report, investigators learned that the girl realized she had forgotten something at home after missing the bus, and while walking back, she was approached by a stranger, later identified by police as Williams.
According to the Daily Herald, law enforcement responded after receiving reports of a juvenile calling for help after Williams allegedly grabbed the victim and stole her phone.
