A man committed suicide just outside the buffet at a Las Vegas-area casino resort early in the evening on Easter Sunday.

John Noble, 53, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He purposefully chose the M Resort in Henderson, Nev., about 15 minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip, as the scene of his death.

Before killing himself, he set his own car on fire in a parking garage.

The night before Noble ended his life, he sent a box of his gripes against M Resort employees to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, according to the newspaper.

“Today, I end my life due to the M Resort Spa Casino and its employees,” the man wrote in one of two attached suicide notes.

Noble blamed his then-impending death on depression. He suffered from depression, he said, because employees at the M Resort had granted him a lifetime pass to free food at the buffet in September 2010 but later took the perk away — and, in fact, banned him from the resort completely.

Noble indicated that resort management instituted the ban because female employees felt he had been harassing them.

This information was part of an array of handwritten notes concerning the people he blamed for his misery. All told, Noble poured out 270 pages of blame. He added a table of contents. He also created a two-hour DVD.

Noble’s package expresses Noble’s side of the harassment story.

Page 269 of Noble’s package to the Review-Journal, entitled “The Curse,” expresses the harm Noble hoped would come to these female employees and other M Resort workers.

In 2013, also on Easter Sunday, Noble made a suicide threat. It followed a woman’s reports that Noble was stalking her. Police intervened at the time, and Noble spent three days in a mental hospital.

In addition, Noble spent considerable time in recent years attacking the M Resort on social media. Those attacks were fairly incessant until his death on Sunday.

The M Resort includes 390 hotel rooms and 92,000-square-foot resort. The buffet is “regarded as one of the best in the Vegas area” and generally “off the chain,” according to Yelp users.

I guess it is all someone else's fault that he is a suicidal asshole. I'll just bet he was doing all they said and more, but WAHHHHH it's not my fault!!!!:arghh::arghh:

You have to give the guy props for just offing himself. Rather than taking some innocent people with him.

Well at least he didn't take anyone he blamed out with him.

You read my mind @eracsurfer ;)

*applause!* Another one of my fave voiceover artists/narrators, too. What would "Dark Matters: Twisted But True" be without his super creepy, cool voice? <3

I loved him in Fringe - watched the show just to see what weirdness he'd pull next! :) Some of his best moments involved being naked under inappropriate circumstances.

Whoa. Obsess much there freak show?

All I can say is that thankfully his obsession was for a resort and not a woman, or worse, a child.

I understand where he is coming from.
I am feeling really depressed lately and want to vent to Victoria Secret.(this all going in my manifesto)
....because every time I buy a bra from them it seems as if it was made for a 12 yr old Chinese boy ... AND IT MAKES ME FEEL FAT AND I'M SAD AND ANGRY.:nana::crack:

You think you have problems? I get the mall cops called on me every time I try to use the fitting rooms to try on their lingerie.

Right?! Prob the same 12 yr old Chinese boy who's actually sewing the bras!

LOL, that's a link to the placeholder image for the embedded video, not the video itself - at any rate, I want the full uncensored two hours, not just the clips they posted online.
*continues praying for leak*
@Malodorous.... I'm sorry. I have a lot to learn about posting. I knew it wasn't the full video but just a compressed bit... I thought it would be better than nothing. I'll keep looking for the full video!
Sorry!

I'm pretty empathetic when it comes to people committing suicide, but I think this guy was a chode. He blamed the women there because HE made them feel uncomfortable. And before he killed himself in a public place where innocent people are now scarred for life, he lit his car on fire which I think was in order to hurt others. So while he didn't succeed in hurting other people (thankfully) he still tried to. And anyone who kills themselves and blames everyone else for it kind of irritates me.

He was depressed because he was banned from a casino and the free buffet? (Obviously, he was not starving over it.) I think he suffered from lifelong anger and an overwhelming sense of self pity. At least he didn't take anyone out with him.

In his defense... he does conclude his magnum opus with an apology to anyone who may see his suicide. Possibly the only point in the entire thing where he demonstrates any empathy with anyone besides himself.

ETA: Is it wrong of me that I kind of wish he'd survived his suicide attempt, solely so he'd have to witness all the online mockery his news story has generated? Oh, and also to face criminal charges, on top of everything else.
