Intoxicated Woman Kicks Over Child’s Sandcastle

While a 4-year-old girl was building a sandcastle with her teenage sister at a beach on Northeast Ocean Boulevard in Stuart, an intoxicated 32-year-old woman approached them.

The woman challenged the teen to a fight, then kicked over the sandcastle and picked up the 4-year-old. The teen grabbed her sister from the woman.

A deputy called to the scene spoke to the woman, noting her slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and boozy breath. The woman told him she had four beers and a couple of shots.

She was arrested and taken to the county jail.
