Hunter Hasley Caused Internal Head Damage To 4MO Daughter, May Lose Vision In One Eye

Police arrested the defendant, Hunter Dewayne Hasley, and charged him with Aggravated Child Abuse after his baby girl was found to have injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.

The 4-month-old girl suffered from multiple injuries, including a fractured leg bone, multiple fractured ribs, and internal head trauma that still threatens the girl’s vision in her left eye. Her injuries required hospitalization in Birmingham.

The baby girl may need surgery to save her vision, District Attorney James Tarbox said.
