Youssef El -Masry, notorious landlord in the Villages, always up to no good.

The Villages, Florida.

"Youssef El-Masry, 84, who owns a home in Villa Vera Cruz in the Village of Santo Domingo, had been facing a felony charge of burglary, following his arrest in December by the Fruitland Park Police Department."

"El-Masry, who previously has been accused of keeping trashy rental property in The Villages, allegedly went Dec. 21 to his rental property on East Leah Court in Fruitland Park with a handyman and a removal crew, according to an arrest report. While they were on the property, El-Masry’s female tenant arrived home and found her couch in a burn pit in the backyard. She called law enforcement.

El-Masry told officers he had verbally told the woman he would be arriving at her home to remove her belongings. The native of Egypt claimed his tenant had not paid rent since September. El-Masry claimed she owed him $6,000."

That wasn't true. Not sure why we need to know about Egypt either.

"However, in a counterclaim previously filed in Lake County Court, the woman had provided receipts proving her rent had been paid. She also said there was no verbal agreement for El-Masry to come to her home to evict her.

The handyman told police that El-Masry had burned the woman’s furniture in the backyard. Police saw metal frames from the furniture in the backyard burn pit."

"El-Masry was also previously caught up in an insurance fraud case.Last month, her brother, 82-year-old Youseff El-Masry, was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $113,625 to Genworth Insurance. He has been placed on probation for 30 years."

THIRTY YEARS of PROBATION !

I used to trust landlords because I am naive and believed professionals acted with integrity. Very stupid.

There's a case that occurred down the way from me a few years back.
They had a clause in their leases that people signed without really noticing, for many years. When it was enforced, they left without objection.
So they got away with it for a long time.

Here's the clause:

“If you are female and become pregnant while you are a resident of Sahara Apartments, you must vacate the apartment upon or prior to the birth of your child and pay any unpaid balance of your Contract Price.”

This was brought before the courts and they ruled against the Sahara Apartments. Their punishment ?? A $2,000 fine. They weren't required to return the monies that they insisted that vacating pregnant women paid or compensate for the damage to their credit scores.

Landlords get away with unbelievable things here in Arizona.
Its a landlord state.

Hahahha, I wish, just a bit of internet lore, which I just fully researched, and it's just a silly made up thing.

I didn't know about the color coded loofahs, but if you made that up? You are the funniest person at this forum

You know, if people would start killing shitbags when they fuck with other people's lives, like that United Heathcare CEO example, shitbags might start to learn not to fuck with other people's lives.
Couldn't agree more.
Shitbags are allowed far too much latitude, for too long.
