A Florida woman was taken to jail after she allegedly struck her husband of five years with food during an argument over the weekend.

According to an arrest affidavit, the incident happened shortly after midnight on Saturday at the couple's home in St. Petersburg.

34-year-old Esha Persad and her husband got into an altercation because she bought him Taco Bell and McDonald's for his birthday, police said.

The affidavit mentions two potential food items that were allegedly thrown at him – a burrito and a soft shell taco. It's unclear if both were thrown, but the report states that a burrito was still on the man's face when police arrived at the scene. He was not injured.

According to police, Persad said she threw a burrito at her husband because he threw a bag at her, which he denied.

OMG I LOVED those things-I got that every time, they always take the good shit off the menu!
Just like their taco salad, even the bowl was edible, and the mini chicken quesadillas and now the beef mexi melt, and I don't care what anyone says for me the Mexican pizza is not the same at least the taco bell by me sucks-they even close at like 8pm now!!!!!!

Yup with a side of cheese sauce they were an unbeatable option relatively cheap. And yes the Mexi-melt disappearing definitely put the nail in the coffin.

where i live taco bell sucks big time... exemple: tacos= a thin layer of mystery meat (sure doesn't look like ground beef but more like a greyish meat), a thin layer of cheese , lots of sherreded lettuce and 3 small pieces of tomatoes... so if someone bought me mcD's (yuck) or taco bell tacos for my birthday i wouldn't be the one wearing it on my face lmao.... but if it was, the now not on menu . taco salad or beef mexi melt that was way too good to waste
