Officer Percy, the bunny, does not work at the election offices so he is just fine. His story is below this one.
Fentanyl mailed to Yuba County, California, election offices
"An envelope containing fentanyl was mailed to an elections office in northern California, where a worker was exposed to the drug, officials said on Wednesday.
The elections department in Yuba county, a rural area about 40 miles from Sacramento, the state capital, received the package on Tuesday. It appeared to come from a “verified agency” and did not initially look suspicious, a county spokesperson said. A staff member found a powdery substance inside and contacted law enforcement."
Yuba County results...
I've come to realize that even if God descended from the sky and said there's no fraud it still wouldn't be believed.
"In November, suspicious packages, including some containing fentanyl, were mailed to elections facilities in at least five states, including offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles.
US elections offices across the US have faced years of threats and harassment since 2020, as Donald Trump and his supporters have falsely claimed the presidency was stolen from him and have tried to cast doubt on the integrity of America’s elections.
In California, the threats have often been concentrated in small rural counties. Nevada county, just east of Yuba, increased its security budget in 2022 after a wave of harassment. The county counsel there sought out a restraining order against residents who pushed their way into the elections office and threatened an official.
The elections office in Shasta county, a region of 180,000 people in the state’s far north that has risen to national prominence for its far-right politics and thriving election denier movement, has dealt with particularly intense intimidation and threats. Election skeptics have frequently grilled staffers about perceived issues, while rowdy observers seeking to prevent “fraud” have interfered with elections processing, and far-right officials have falsely claimed county elections are “manipulated”."
Here are the Shasta County results for the 2020 election
Can someone explain to me why the conservatives of Shasta County (my old back yard) think that there was fraud perpetuated at their very own election office when those are the published results of the 2020 election for that County?
Hicks. Fussing old paranoid biddies.
"The Shasta elections office has taken additional safety measures and had security guards and sheriff’s deputies present as staff processed ballots in November’s election."

Officer Percy not killed by election deniers.
He may have been covered here before but he deserves a second run around the ring
"His official title is "wellness officer" with the Yuba City Police Department. He's meant to be an outlet for stress, for officers and staff who see a lot of bad.
"Being able to hold him, pet him and just step back from that situation, regroup is vital to their mental wellbeing," said Brazil.
A push department-wide for a focus on mental health and overall wellness came in 2022, Brazil says. And about seven months ago, along came this therapeutic thumper seemingly out of nowhere.
The story starts when Percy himself first needed a little bit of help. Officer Ashley Carson found him on the road, abandoned, while she was on patrol around 2 o'clock in the morning.
"I started to call him and said, 'Here bun, bun!' He came running to me. He stood on his hind legs and I picked him up," said Carson.
She loaded him into her patrol car where he patiently accompanied her on several calls. She took him to the animal shelter and after a few weeks with no family found, McCready decided to go adopt him.
She gave Percy not just a home, but an office right next to hers in the department complete with a pen, litter box, food and toys.
"He just hangs out in here, he kind of free roams," said McCready.
Percy comes to work with Chelsea every day, even working some shifts too when she's not here so the employees and dispatchers working the graveyard shifts can get bunny snuggles in, too.
"We are seeing the long-term benefits of it already, even in just a short amount of time," said Brazil."

Outside the Yuba City Police Department, the tulips are in full bloom, the sun shines on Wednesday afternoon and Spring has officially sprung. So much so, a look inside the station might have some thinking the Easter Bunny came early.
